Cardi B Wants $300K To Perform

Movie-making news… DJ Khaled has a new furniture line… Aretha Franklin is doing OUTFIT CHANGES… Kanye apologizes… and Cardi B wants at least $300,000 to perform

In movie-making news, Paramount Pictures has pushed back the release of the “Top Gun” sequel from July 2019 to June 2020. The Wrap says it’s because of the extensive visual effects work and complicated flight scenes. And just two days after it was announced that Alec Baldwin would play Batman’s father in “Joker,” he pulled out. Alec didn’t say why but he told Variety, “I’m sure there are 25 guys who can play that part.”

DJ Khaled loves the finer things in life, and now he wants to share that love with us. Khaled has launched his own furniture line called We the Best Home, which you can find starting today on Goldition.com. According to a press release, We the Best Home features “statement pieces designed to elevate your home into a new level of expression, luxury living, and #winning.” If you follow Khaled, you know that he likes a lot of gold and Versace designs — real extravagant, glitzy stuff. And that’s pretty much what you can expect from Khaled’s collection. The prices aren’t as awful as I expected. Page Six says there are luxe end tables starting at $399…sofas starting at $1699…and a special “Kingdom of Khaled Throne Chair” for $2500. Khaled designed 300 different items that will be divided into 15 collections, with 5 launching today.

Aretha Franklin is a diva to the end! While lying in her 24-karat-gold-plated coffin, she is doing OUTFIT CHANGES!! For her first public viewing on Tuesday, she wore a red dress with red stilettos. On Wednesday, she switched to pastel blue with matching heels. The funeral home director says she’ll be wearing another dress for the viewing today and another one for her funeral on Friday!

Kanye was on a Chicago radio station yesterday and broke down in tears talking about his “slavery was a choice” comments, saying he was sorry for people who felt let down by his words. But Kanye said it never would’ve happened if his friend Don C had been around to keep him in check. Don C is a streetwear fashion designer and used to be Kanye’s tour manager, but now he works with Nike’s Jordan Brand. Kanye said, “The downfall of Kanye West is directly related to Don C not being around. I told him I need him.” He said if he had his support system around him, “They could have stopped it. They could have said ‘Yo this is going too far.”

Cardi B wants to perform again, but on her terms! Sources told TMZ that first of all, Cardi wants $300K. Minimum. And not only that, the shows have to be close to home. She needs to get home to her baby as quickly as possible. And on top of that, she is only playing huge venues from now on. No more small club gigs.
