The CW is developing a live-action version of “The Powerpuff Girls”! The original show ran on the Cartoon Network from 1998-2005, and there was a also a movie in 2002. In the original series, Professor Utonium accidentally created the elementary school aged super team of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup by combining sugar, spice, and everything nice with the mysterious Chemical X. In the updated live-action version, the girls are now “disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting.” But when the world needs them now more than ever, will they decide to reunite or not? I’m guessing they will. No premiere date has been set.

With both Amanda Seales and Tamara Mowery announcing their departures from “The Real,” it’s been announced that Garcelle Beauvais is filling at least one of those empty seats. A source told Hollywood Life that Garcelle was one of seven women who did a chemistry test with the remaining three — Loni, Jeannie and Adrienne — and she simply blew everyone else out of the water. According to E! News, Yvette Nicole Brown, Keke Palmer, and Tisha Campbell are still in conversations to take one of the remaining spots.

Now that we know Mary and Romain were married before they even started filming, what else are they lying to us about on “Selling Sunset”??? After hearing all the speculation that actors were hired to play real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group, Jason Oppenheim released a statement to People magazine. He claims, “these aren’t actual real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group, just actors hired to play the parts, Jason Oppenheim released a statement to People. He claims, “Mary, Heather, Maya, and Christine were licensed and successful real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group many years prior to filming our show. Amanza worked with us as a designer, and has been a close friend of Mary’s and mine for many years. Chrishell was a practicing agent at another brokerage, many years previous to filming Selling Sunset. As a licensed agent, Davina had transacted many deals before joining the team in 2018. Any insinuation that the agents on our show are not experienced, successful, or licensed, evidences a complete disregard for the facts. Even a superficial investigation would identify previous team photos, hundreds of millions in transacted sales, and more than 50 years of combined licensed real estate experience from these agents.”

James Charles tweeted the other day that he’d done a makeover on someone and that the video would break the internet. James liked tweets guessing it would be Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and a whole bunch of other famous ladies, but NOBODY guessed who it really was — Jojo Siwa. After the big reveal, James tweeted, “I said today’s collab was with someone I waited two years to work with & I was so excited for and now I’m getting death threats because stan twitter assumed it would be their fav and it wasn’t.”

Tyra Banks is taking the reins at “Dancing With the Stars” and promises some big changes. A lot of fan are super disappointed that she got rid of Tom Bergeron, but it really all boils down to the celebrity dancers they get for the competition. We already know former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe has signed on, but we won’t know the rest of the cast until the big “Good Morning America” reveal on Sept. 2. Backstreet Boy AJ McLean has a lot of people thinking he’ll be on that ballroom floor after he posted a video yesterday showing off his buff body, explaining he’d been working out for 5 months getting ready for a big surprise that’s coming soon. Among the other guesses right now are Chrishell Stause from “Selling Sunset” and actress Anne Heche, but if none of those names get you excited, how much do you love the rumor that “Tiger King” star Carole Baskin will be on DWTS??
