Kerry Washington is stepping away from social media for a bit. Of course, she can’t just DO that. She has to tell us she’s doing that. So she posted a video of a wave washing away a heart drawn in the sand and captioned it, “It’s time for me to take a teeny break from social media. Feeling called to be a bit more quiet and still. Not sure how long it’ll last but don’t worry, I’ll be back soon enough. This space has become such a community. I’m very grateful. Thank you. I’ll be thinking of youz and I’m sending love to you wherever you are…#MermaidGram” Right after Kerry made her IG announcement, it was announced that the next season of “Scandal” will be delayed until 2017 for a midseason debut so she can have baby number two with hubby, Nnamdi Asomugha.

Eva Longoria is set to marry Jose “Pepe” Baston in Mexico this weekend. The couple became engaged in December during a vacation in Dubai. Pepe is the president of Grupo Televisa, which is the largest media company in Latin America. This will be Eva’s third marriage and Pepe’s second. He has three children.

Alanis Morissette is suing her former business manager for robbing her of almost $5 million. She can thank her new business manager catching this. Jonathan Schwartz managed Alanis’ money from 2009 until March of this year. He was responsible for collecting income, managing investment accounts and paying bills on Alanis’ behalf. She fired him in March because when she asked him for specific information about her finances, Jonathan started dragging his feet and wouldn’t get back to her. So enter NEW business manager Howard Grossman who immediately did some digging. He found at least 116 cash transfers Jonathan made from Alanis’ accounts over a 4-year period, totaling more than $4.7 million. Not only that, Jonathan transferred $8 million from investment accounts that were supposed to remain untouched so she could live off her current income and interest. Obviously, she’s suing. She’s seeking damages in excess of $15 million.

Kesha was set to perform at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday night, but Dr. Luke and her label, Kemosabe Records, say she can’t. There was speculation in the media that Kesha was going to use her performance to make a statement about her ongoing battle to break her contract with Dr. Luke over allegations that he sexually abused her. That’s when the label ix-nayed her performance. Kesha took to her Instagram to explain that she never intended to use her performance to make a statement against Dr. Luke. She just wanted to pay tribute to Bob Dylan by covering his song, “It Ain’t Me, Babe.”

TMZ is reporting that Chris Brown got thrown off a private jet for allegedly “hotboxing.” According to the police report, the pilot warned Chris and his entourage not to smoke pot on the plane, but they lit up before the plane even pushed back. Officers arrived, kicked everybody off the plane, but made no arrests. Chris’ friends were complete jerks throughout the whole ordeal, putting it all on Snapchat.
