It may have been the highlight of the Oscars, but you didn’t think Glenn Close doing Da Butt was spontaneous, did you? She posted a photo of the now-viral moment on Instagram, explaining in a VERY long caption that she was given the heads up that Lil Rel was going to ask her about “Da Butt,” which was from Spike Lee’s “School Daze” movie from way back in 1988, and that the men sitting at the table helped her prepare what to say. She happened to be sitting with Best Supporting Actor winner Daniel Kaluuya and Darrell Britt-Gibson, and Glenn confessed, “Darrell insisted that I mention the Backyard Band, on top of E.U., Suga Bear and the whole DMV. I had googled ‘Da Butt’ and watched Spike’s music video so when Lil Rel asked if I could do the dance…you can actually see me think of the video.” You may have seen this go down on the internet but you probably didn’t see it in real time because, as expected, this was the lowest-rated Oscars of all time. Only 9.85M tuned in this year, down 58% from last year’s 23.64M. This is the first time the Oscars telecast has scored less than 10M.

Leonardo DiCaprio wasn’t at the Oscars ceremony or even nominated for anything this year, but he is being criticized. Leo’s production company won a bidding war for the rights to remake a Danish movie called “Another Round” that won the Oscar for Best International Film Sunday night. Critics are calling out Leo, and Hollywood in general, for trying to steal the film’s thunder, for trying to Americanize another foreign work of art, and for not having any original ideas. Leo beat our Jake Gylleenhaal’s and Elizabeth Banks’ production companies for the movie. If it is made, Leo will play an alcoholic high-school teacher facing midlife crises. “Another Round” is available to stream on Hulu.

Michael Jackson’s estate just won big in court. For decades, a choreographer named Wade Robson has accused Michael of sexually abusing him when he was a minor. Wade has sued a few times, but his case always gets tossed. Yesterday, it was announced his recent lawsuit against Michael’s production company and estate was dismissed. The judge ruled that Wade couldn’t prove the companies had the ability to control Michael’s conduct or that the companies had any duty to protect Wade while he was with Michael. Another accuser, James Safechuck, had his lawsuit dismissed last year, too. Wade’s attorney said they plan on appealing and the decision sets a “dangerous precedent that would leave thousands of children working in the entertainment industry vulnerable to sexual abuse by persons in places of power.” Michael’s attorney said that Wade still has not proved anything after nearly three dozen depositions and hundreds of thousands of documents.

The Kardashians asked Andy Cohen those their final “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reunion special, and he promises that there is NO topic left uncovered. On his satellite radio show, Andy said, “Kim and Khloé specifically were like, ‘We want to do this. We want to do this right. We want to go out with a bang. We want this, we want to go there. Do your thing, do your thing.’” So Andy did! He said he covered everything from Kim’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries to her marriage and now ongoing divorce from Kanye. He also talks to Khloe about her marriage to Lamar Odom and the Tristan Thompson cheating scandals. He even asks about rumors of Kylie’s lip injections and all the fake butt accusations. Andy said at the end of the reunion taping, Kendall said, “Wow. This was so great. We actually, we talked about so much stuff we have never talked about and have never been able to put to bed or address. And we did it. We actually did it.’”
