Dancing with the Stars Elimination

The highest-paid TikToker… The first Asian-American Housewife… Mike Tyson makes EDM debut… Hugh Grant wants a ‘Notting Hill’ sequel… and Dancing with the Stars elimination

We’ve got another list from “Forbes”! This one is the 7 highest-earning TikTok stars. Why they don’t give us a top 10, I don’t know. But to make this list, they calculated earnings made from June 2019 to June 2020. One important note: This list does not include stars who are famous for other things. This list is strictly compiled of people who are rich and famous simply because of TikTok.

  1. Addison Rae – $5M
  2. Charli D’Amelio – $4M
  3. Dixie D’Amelio – $2.9M
  4. Loren Grey – $2.4M
  5. Josh Richards – $1.5M
  6. (tie) Spencer X and Michale Le – $1.2M

Bravo is diversifying some of their very-white Real Housewives lineups by adding more women of color. Earlier this year, we found out the New York cast is adding their first Black Housewife, attorney and TV host Eboni K. Williams. Last season, Garcelle Beauvais became the first Black Housewife of Beverly Hills. For Season 11, Beverly Hills is adding its first Asian Housewife, Crystal Kung Minkoff. She is the founder of Real Coco, which offers all things coconut — coconut milk, water, creamer and chips. She’s married to Rob Minkoff, who co-directed the original “The Lion King,” as well as the “Stuart Little” movies and “The Haunted Mansion.”

Mike Tyson is training for his Nov. 28th fight against Roy Jones Jr. To get us excited about watching two 50-something men pound on each other, Mike has teamed up with an LA-based group called Tiki Eau for an EDM track called…..wait for it….. “Mike Tyson.” While this obnoxious beat plays in the background, Mike does a lot of talking, saying things like, “I’m Mike Tyson!” and “I’m Mike Tyson!” over and over again, as well as, “Lend me your ears or I will eat them all!”

While promoting his new HBO miniseries, “The Undoing,” Hugh Grant was asked about doing a sequel to “Notting Hill.” Who didn’t fall in love with Hugh in that movie?? He — the British bookstore owner, William Thacker; she — the super famous movie star Anna Scott who happened to walk into his bookstore one day. Who can forget that famous line, “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her?” And who didn’t burst into tears during that final scene in the park, with William sitting on a bench reading a book and Anna lying on his lap and when the camera hits just the right angle we see that she’s pregnant?? We ate it up! But Hugh hated it. In fact, he said the only way he would do a sequel to any of his romantic comedies would be “to prove the terrible lie that they all were, that it was a happy ending. I’d like me and Julia and the hideous divorce that’s ensued with really expensive lawyers, children involved in a tug of love, floods of tears. Psychologically scarred forever. I’d love to do that film.” Whoa. In “The Undoing” Hugh plays a really bad guy, and he says playing bad guys is a relief! Back in January, he told TV Guide, “Richard Curtis, who wrote all of those romantic comedies did a lot of — it always used to make him laugh that people thought I was that nice, public, Englishman, because he knew that exactly the reverse was true. It’s very nice to be closer to home.”

SPOILER ALERT COMING! During Sunday’s rehearsal for “Dancing with the Stars” Cheryl Burke was running backward, lost her footing and fell backward, hitting her head hard on the floor. Her partner AJ McLean said, “It happened so fast! I just heard her head hit the floor!” It looked really bad and there was talk that Cheryl wouldn’t be able to perform last night, but doctors cleared her to dance. And dance, she did. Cheryl and AJ tangoed their little hearts out, earning a 26 out 0f 30. But sadly, friend of our show Monica Aldama from “Cheer” was eliminated last night.
