Selena Gomez broke Beyonce’s record of becoming the fastest user to get a million likes on Instagram. Selena posted happy pictures of herself celebrating her 26th birthday — which was an Italian-themed yacht party, by the way — and it hit one million likes in 13 minutes. A day later, she’s already approaching 9 million. When Beyonce posted a photo of her and her twins, Rumi and Sir, it took her an hour to get 1.7 million likes. By the way, Selena also beat out Beyonce on the Hopper HQ 2018 list for the richest people on Instagram. According to them, Selena can charge companies $800K for one Instagram post, which Beyonce can charge $700K. But Kylie Jenner beats them both. She reportedly can charge a million bucks to promote a product.

Demi Lovato’s rep says she’s awake and with her family after being rushed to the hospital for an apparent overdose. The rep also wants us to know that while Demi’s family “want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support…some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.” TMZ was the first to report Demi’s overdose, but sources say their report that she overdosed on heroin is incorrect. But sources do say she was treated with Narcan, an emergency treatment for narcotics overdoses. And The Blast says a nurse who treated Demi told police she’d been using methamphetamine. We do know that Demi had been sober six years before she admitted to slipping. A source told People magazine, “Things have been a total mess for months. She and her team severed ties, and they played a large part in getting her sober years ago. She hasn’t been in a good place.” Demi had just performed at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles on Sunday alongside Iggy Azalea. On Monday night, she was out celebrating a friend’s birthday in West Hollywood and then the overdose happened late Tuesday morning. She had been scheduled to play Atlantic City tomorrow night, but that’s obviously been canceled. And Demi was scheduled to be on last night’s episode of “Beat Shazam” on Fox, but in light of what happened, they pulled Demi’s episode and replaced it with another new one.
