Demi Lovato’s Drug Dealer Says She Knew the Risks

Weekend box office news… Jennifer Garner reached an agreement with Ben Affleck… Jay-Z & Beyonce’s crazy fan… Mel B is entering treatment… and Demi Lovato’s drug dealer says she knew the risks

“Crazy Rich Asians” holds on to the top spot at the box office for a second week, earning another $25 million. “The Meg” came in second with $13 million, which puts it over the $100 million mark here in the US. Coming in third was Melissa McCarthy’s new movie, “The Happytime Murders.” This would be considered a box office bomb, earning only $10 million. This is also the lowest start of Melissa’s solo career.

Two weeks ago, a judge warned Jennifer Garner that if she didn’t reach an agreement in her divorce from Ben Affleck sooner rather than later, the whole thing would be tossed. The couple announced their separation three years ago and Jennifer finally filed for divorce last April, but there had been no movement since. After a third warning, Jen got the ball rolling and reached an agreement with Ben. But E! News has learned that the final settlement won’t be filed until after Ben gets out of rehab. He’s reportedly in treatment for at least 30 days.

As Jay-Z and Beyonce were leaving the stage in Atlanta Saturday night, a man from the crowd just strolled up on stage to say hey. It took a minute for everybody to realized what exactly was happening, but then the backup dancers and the security people all pounced on this guy. Police have charged 26-year-old Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell with disorderly conduct and simple battery, but he was the one who had to be treated for minor injuries.

Mel B released a statement that she has been diagnosed with PTSD and plans on entering a rehab facility in the UK for treatment. Mel has been writing a book called Brutally Honest, and she says it’s been “unbelievably traumatic” reliving her ugly divorce from Stephen Belafonte. She said, “I am being very honest about drinking to numb my pain but that is just a way a lot of people mask what is really going on.” She said she’s not only dealing with PTSD, but with alcohol and sex addiction, as well. She said she’ll be entering treatment in the next few weeks.

Brandon Johnson says he’s the man who gave Demi Lovato drugs the night she OD’d. He told TMZ that Demi texted him at 4am and asked him to come over, and he knew that meant she wanted to do drugs. Brandon says they freebased Oxycodone, but he denies knowing they were laced with fentanyl. He says he left house around 7 or 8am and Demi was asleep and seemed to be fine. But at 11:30am, her assistant found her in deep distress and called 911.
