Drake Offered to Help Police Talk Down a Suicidal Man

Niall Horan has big news… Harrison Ford is grounded… Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition… The Weeknd’s early birthday gift from Selena Gomez… and Drake offered to help police talk down a suicidal man

Niall Horan says it’s going to happen — One Direction will be getting back together! No, nothing is in the works. But Niall told Nova’s Smallzy Surgery yesterday, “As I’ve said many times, we’d be stupid not to.”

Harrison Ford is grounded from flying for at least a few weeks for an FAA investigation. He was trying to land his airplane at John Wayne Airport in Orange County and he landed on the WRONG RUNWAY!! And as he flew over a BOEING 737 with 116 people on board, he radioed the tower, “Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?” Um, no Harrison…It wasn’t. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this could’ve been BAD. Harrison is 74 and he just passed a pilot’s medical exam last month.

Kate Upton is back on the cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, which is out today. And not only that, they’ve given her three different covers! The editor says they didn’t intend to do three covers, but when Kate started shooting “each photo was coming back just as great as the next.” The theme of this year’s issue is body diversity and age inclusion. You’ll get to see the likes of 63-year-old Christie Brinkley modeling with her two daughters, as well as Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles and Aly Raisman, a newly pregnant Hannah Davis Jeter and Chrissy Teigen, who posed six months after her daughter Luna was born.

The Weeknd turns 27 tomorrow but he wanted to celebrate a few days early with his buddies. Even though Selena Gomez couldn’t be there, she laid down her credit card at Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood so The Weeknd and his friends, which included French Montana, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and Travis Scott, could have complete run of the place and an open bar for four hours Monday night. And Selena picked up the tab, which was nearly $30K.

Drake had just performed in Manchester, England, and was on the tour bus trying to get to the next gig when traffic came to a complete stop. They found out that a guy was threatening to jump off a bridge. Drake sent one of his entourage over to police officers, offering to try and talk the man down if they thought it would help. The officers politely declined. Finally, about 7am, the man came down from the bridge and was taken to the hospital.
