Drake’s 2000s-Themed B-Day Party

“Clueless” remake… Forbes highest paid TV actors… Tyler the Creator’s accident… Ariana Grande is going on tour… and Drake’s 2000s-themed birthday party

It’s been 23 years since “Clueless” hit the big screen, giving us the greatness of Cher who gave us that famous quote “As if!” and also explained the meaning of a girl being a “full-on Monet.” It’s like a painting. From far away, it’s okay. But up close, it’s a big old mess. “Clueless” also made me crush super hard on Paul Rudd and I still haven’t gotten completely over it. Let’s be honest. “Clueless” is perfect, AS IS. Why would you want to mess with it? Well, that’s exactly what Paramount Pictures wants to do. They’re developing a remake with “Girls Trip” writer Tracy Oliver producing. Marquita Robinson — who writes for the Netflix show “Glow” — has been hired to write the script. By the way, the Broadway musical version of “Clueless” starring Dove Cameron — who plays Mal in Disney’s “Descendants” — debuts next month.

Yesterday, Forbes released their list of the 10 Highest Paid TV Actors. It was basically the entire male cast of “The Big Bang Theory” with Mark Harmon from “NCIS” thrown in the mix. Today, we have Forbes list of the 10 Highest Paid TV Actresses, and for the SEVENTH year in a row, Sofia Vergara from “Modern Family” comes in first. They estimate she makes $42.5 million from her TV gig and endorsements. Kaley Cuoco from “The Big Bang Theory” is second with $24.5 million, and after landing her big “Grey’s Anatomy” pay raise, Ellen Pompeo comes in third with $23.5 million.

Tyler the Creator crashed his Tesla Model X into a parked car on Sunset Blvd. around 12:30am yesterday. According to police, Tyler pushed the parked car about 50 feet into the street and it looks like both vehicles are totaled. Luckily, Tyler wasn’t injured. He later posted on social media that he’d fallen asleep at the wheel after a late-night music session. He said, “My big doopy a** usually goes to sleep at 10:30…and guess who wanted to finish music super late and dozed off for a few seconds while driving home. i’m a dumb a** b**** but lil mama don’t have a scratch I’m lucky.” The police left a report on the victim’s car and when photographers caught up with him later, he said what happened was a bummer, but he’s excited for a decent check!

She says music fixes everything, and now Ariana Grande is ready to fix her broken heart by taking her music out on the road for her “Sweetener World Tour.” The US leg kicks off March 18 with a show in Albany and then ends up back in New York for her final show June 18 at Madison Square Garden. Presale for American Express cardholders is Nov. 1-3, and then everybody else gets a shot at tickets. International dates have not been announced.

Drake threw himself a huge 2000s-themed party for his 32nd birthday. He asked guests to get into the spirit by wearing clothes from the turn of the century. Drake wore a couple of outfits, including a Sean John tracksuit. Shay Mitchell dressed up like Jennifer Lopez from the 2000 VMAs. Kendall Jenner topped off her outfit with a pink sequined Von Dutch hat. For entertainment, Drake had a room full of cars that looked like they came straight off the set of “Pimp My Ride.” He had a wall of Blockbuster videos and also a fully-stocked 7-Eleven complete with lotto tickets! His cake was shaped like a Motorola Timeport pager and for party favors, he handed out Chanel handbags! How do we get invited to the 33rd birthday party???
