Not a big surprise to find out that “Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” debuted at number one at the box office this weekend, taking in $73.7 million. That’s great and all, but it didn’t earn quite as much as “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” which opened the same weekend last year with $84.6 million. Last week’s number one, “Frozen,” dropped a spot to second with $22.2 million. “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas” came in third place with $16.2 million.

I’m starting to think that the Jonas Brothers didn’t break up….they just kicked Kevin out!! The boys announced they were breaking up in October, but the very next month, Joe and Nick performed at some awards show in Mexico with no Kevin in sight. And this past Thursday, the same thing happened again! Joe and Nick performed at a radio station’s Christmas concert in Buffalo, NY, without their oldest brother, Kevin. So what’s up with that???

According to Page Six, Rihanna has moved into her $39,000-a-month Manhattan duplex penthouse, and she’s turning three of its four bedrooms into WALK-IN CLOSETS!! Rihanna has taken over the 11th and 12th floors of this loft that has a wrap-around terrace, views of the World Trade Center, and now three bedrooms converted into closets because she has so many freaking clothes!!! A source says Rihanna is hoping to make Manhattan her home and that living there makes it convenient to go see her family in Barbados.

The gossips were right — Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom on Friday. And RadarOnline.com is reporting that she’s already hooking up with Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend, Matt Kemp. Matt and Rihanna dated in 2010, and that’s when stories first surfaced about how Matt’s former live-in girlfriend got a restraining order against him in 2008. Felisha Terrell claimed Matt stalked, intimidated and verbally abused her, but she later dropped her charges and the restraining order was vacated. But of course now that he’s hooking up with another high-profile celebrity, the stories have come back to haunt him.

Oh, how I long for those “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” days. Remember those cute little chubby-cheeked twins, Cole and Dylan Sprouse? Well, as Dylan tweeted to his fans yesterday, “whoops, guess I’m not 14 and fat anymore.” That was in response to those naked pictures that went viral over the weekend. Yes, Dylan sent some naked pictures of himself to his girlfriend, who is now his scorned EX-girlfriend. So she decided to humiliate him by posting them on the internet. The girl was so mad, she didn’t even shop them around to the highest bidder. Bet she’s kicking herself over that rash decision now………Anyway, Dylan decided to face it like a man, tweeting, “I messed up…but I’d be a fool not to own up to it. Got to move past it I suppose.” Then he added “n00d pic dealer” to his Twitter bio. His twin Cole sees the humor in it, too, tweeting, “Cold in that bathroom huh?”
