Critics typically don’t care for horror movies, but if you want to be scared, you don’t care…you’re going anyway. “Halloween Ends” was number one at the box office this weekend, taking in $41.25M. They were projecting it would take in between $50M-$55M, but streaming it on Peacock probably hurt them there. And in just two days, it’s now Peacock’s most-watched series or film of all time. However, audiences aren’t loving it, so they’ll probably see a big decline at the box office next weekend. “Smile” continues to kick box office butt, taking in another $12.4M in it third weekend of release. Remember, this movie only cost $17M to produce, and so far it’s grossed $137M worldwide. “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” followed in third with another $7.4M.

“Dahmer” is no longer the number one series on the Netflix Top 10. That honor now belongs to “The Watcher.” Ryan Murphy is very pleased by this because he created both shows, which are based on true stories, only “The Watcher” isn’t as well known. This is a dramatization of a story described in a 2018 article for “The Cut” called “The Haunting of a Dream House.” It stars Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale as a married couple who move into their dream home only to be harassed by a stalker calling himself “The Watcher.” “Dahmer” sits at number two on the Netflix Top 10. It’s the second most popular English-language series of all time. “Stranger Things” still holds that title.

Megan Thee Stallion pulled double-duty as the host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. But before the show went live on NBC, Megan went live on social media and said, “Hotties, I’m really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break. I’m so tired physically and emotionally.” She was probably reeling from what happened Thursday night. While she was in NYC rehearsing for SNL, two men broke into her home in LA and stole between $300K-$400K worth of jewelry, cash and electronics. Police have the home’s surveillance video, but no arrests have been made as of yet. In other SNL news, Jack Harlow will host and perform on Oct. 29th.

The Vibe has confirmed that Drake and The Weeknd are boycotting the Grammys once again, pulling their solo albums and singles from Grammy consideration. While he’d previously enjoyed 13 Grammy nominations, The Weeknd’s critically acclaimed, hugely successful album “After Hours” was snubbed last year. After that, he told the “New York Times,” “I will no longer allow my label to submit my music to the Grammys.” And he meant it! Drake’s had his own issues with the Academy, dating back to 2017 when his song “Hotline Bling” was submitted in Rap categories and not Pop. The next year, Drake withdrew his nominations for the album “Certified Lover Boy” and “Way 2 Sexy,” which was up for Best Rap Performance. But will Drake permanently draw a line in the sand like The Weeknd?

It was the hug felt ‘round the world and temporarily broke the internet. Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez ended up at the same fancy gala…..and took a picture together! Not just one, but SEVERAL!! This is a huge deal because fans have been trying to pit these two women against each other for the past four years. Selena dated Justin on and off from 2011-2018. When they finally broke up for good in March 2018, Justin got with Hailey and never looked back. They were married that September. But Justin and Selena fans would not stop harassing Hailey, who finally broke down in April of this year on TikTok, begging them, “Leave me alone at this point. I’m minding my business, I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please. Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone. I beg of you, truly. That’s my only request. Leave me alone.” Hailey addressed it again on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast recently, insisting she and Selena were all good. She said, “Everybody on our side knows what happened, and we’re good, and we can walk away from it with clarity and respect.” And now, the proof is in the pictures!
