Ellen DeGeneres Shares A “Be Kind” Message

Nick Jonas is in rotation… Rihanna’s next big project… JLo sued for $150K… Aaron Carter update… and Ellen DeGeneres’ “be kind” message…

NBC announced that for season 18 of “The Voice,” Gwen Stefani is rotating out and Nick Jonas is rotating in! Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend are staying put. While we’re sure Blake is a little disappointed, Gwen wants to get back to her “Just a Girl” residency at Planet Hollywood. That’s scheduled to run February through May, and that’s the same time they’ll be doing “The Voice.” But Nick is completely free because he’s wrapping up the Jonas Brothers tour in February.

Fans have been waiting for Rihanna to drop a new album and yesterday she finally announced her next big project…..a coffee table book. The book is called “Rihanna” and will be available on Oct 24th. It is over 500 pages and has over 1,000 photos of her from over the years. She said it has been in the works for five years. The book costs $150 or $175 depending on which edition you want. If you want a signed copy it will cost $5,550.

Jennifer Lopez is the latest celebrity to be sued by paparazzi for posting a picture without their permission. Splash News and Picture Agency are suing JLo in federal court, filing two claims of copyright infringement when she posted a photo of her holding hands with Alex Rodriguez when they went out for breakfast in November of 2017. They say that photo belonged to their Splash photographer and because she posted it, that lost out on the revenue they could’ve earned from licensing the photograph. They want $150K in damages for each claim.

Aaron Carter spent the weekend letting us know he’s bought a big house in Nova Scotia — he’s calling it a castle. Aaron said it’s 9000 square feet with 8 bedrooms, a rec room, a “thot” tub, a study, and a fireplace in every room. And bonus! Aaron says it comes with free maple syrup for life because the maple is on tap. Aaron explained that he’s moving to Canada to live his life in peace, make music, and wait for his future wife to find him. Meantime, he’s heading back to California to pack up all his stuff and said if anyone calls the police asking for a wellness check on him, he’ll sic his lawyers on them. In between all of that, Aaron revealed on his Instagram story that he’s got a 12-year-old son he’s never met. Aaron claims he hooked up with a former beauty queen named Hayley Eisenhardt, who got pregnant, moved to Amsterdam, had the baby and put him up for adoption. Hayley responded on Twitter with a gif of Robert Downey Jr. with his arms crossed, eyes rolling and letting out a big sigh. She captioned it, “My response to the last 72 hours.”

Ellen DeGeneres sat next to George W. Bush in a luxury suite to watch a Dallas Cowboys football game. Pretty cool, right? Twitter didn’t think so – especially when it looked like Ellen was actually enjoying the former president’s company. After seeing the tweets of wrath, Ellen decided to address it on her talk show yesterday. She shared one tweet that she loved — “Ellen and George Bush together makes me have faith in America again.” Ellen said, “Exactly. Here’s the thing. I’m friends with George Bush. In fact, I’m friends with a lot of people who don’t share the same beliefs that I have. We’re all different, and I think we’ve forgotten that that’s okay that we’re all different.” She went on to say, “Just because I don’t agree with someone on everything doesn’t mean that I’m not going to be friends with them. When I say, ‘be kind to one another,’ I don’t only mean the people that think the same way that you do. I mean be kind to everyone.” Amen, Ellen!
