In TV and movie news, Jamie Foxx will star in a new vampire thriller for Netflix called “Day Shift.” He plays a “hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. His mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income: hunting and killing vampires.” And “Euphoria” has two special episodes coming out to hold fans over until the delayed second season. The first will be a Christmas special that hits HBO in early December. And on the big screen, only 3 more “Fast and Furious” movies to go! “F9” comes out on Memorial Day and — according to Deadline — “continues the storyline of the core cast and Charlize Theron, and adds John Cena, Helen Mirren, Grammy-winner Cardi B and Reggaeton star Ozuna.” After that, it’s not set in stone, but “F10” should be ready for a 2022 release date, but then after the 11th installment, that’s it. We also got news yesterday that “Legally Blonde 3” will be in theaters in May of 2022.

Ryan Seacrest was a no-show on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” Monday and Tuesday, but yesterday — rather than avoid the situation like she did the day before — Kelly Ripa finally revealed that Ryan was simply waiting for the results of a COVID test. But — good news — the results were negative and he’ll be back on the air today.

TikTok star Bryce Hall and his entourage were vaping on the patio of a Mexican restaurant in LAX. Well, you can’t do that in LA. A server told the group they had to stop and this is where the story goes off in two different directions. Sources told TMZ that Bryce blew smoke in the servers face, and a manager came out with their check and told them to pay and leave. That’s when Bryce and his friends allegedly jumped an employee and fists were flying. Bryce told TMZ it didn’t go down like that. He claims he was very polite when asked to leave and claims things went wrong when he had to ask almost a dozen times for his credit card to be returned to him He claims that’s when the manager grabbed him and tried to drag him away, which is what led to the all-out brawl. Police were called, but Bryce and crew had already split. One of the employees says he wants to press charges, but Bryce claims he has witnesses who videoed the whole thing and it will prove he’s telling the truth.

Demi Lovato is communicating with aliens and wants us to join her. Demi shared on Instagram that she recently spent time in Joshua Tree with Dr. Steven Greer, who is a noted authority on UFOs and extra-terrestrial intelligence. She said he also figured out how to make peaceful contact with alien civilizations and taught her how to do it, too. Demi claims that if just one percent of us learn how to “meditate and make contact” with aliens, governments around the world will have to acknowledge that there is extraterrestrial life among us. So how do we do this, Demi? With the CE5 app. CE5 stands for Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind and for just $9.99 you can tap into the alien world. Demi said we shouldn’t worry if the app doesn’t work on the first try. She said, “It took me several sessions to tap into a deep enough level of meditation to make contact!) Happy communicating.”

“The Bachelorette” is being slammed on social media for last night’s episode. Clare decided to have the guys play dodgeball and the winning team got to go on a group date with her. She divided the men into two teams — red and blue — and then revealed it was going to be “strip dodgeball.” Chris Harrison feigned shock when he asked Clare, “So this tournament is over when the losing team has nothing on?” Clare answered, “Yeah. This is my game. These are my rules.” All but one guy on the blue team was left completely nude except for Brendan, who left on his jockstrap. He told Clare, “I love you, but I can’t.” Twitter was outraged and rightfully so. Imagine if the Bachelor had asked a group of women to play the same game???? And next week, one of the men who didn’t compete in the game calls Clare out for what happened.
