Former “Bachelor” contestant Gia Allemand passed away in New Orleans yesterday. She was 29. Sources close to Gia say she and her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson, had been fighting lately because she was ready to get married and he wasn’t. But everyone says there were no red flags whatsoever that Gia would attempt suicide. On Monday, Ryan came home to find Gia hanging. She was barely clinging to life. But yesterday, the decision was made to take Gia off of life support.
Wrestling superstar Darren Young was at LAX yesterday when he was approached by a cameraman for TMZ who asked whether or not a gay wrestler could succeed in the WWE. Darren laughed and said, “Absolutely. Look at me. I’m a WWE superstar and to be honest with you, I’ll tell you right now, I’m gay. And I’m happy. I’m very happy.” And he wasn’t joking about that. Darren Young is now officially the first openly gay wrestler at WWE.
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband, Juicy Joe, were in court yesterday afternoon where they were arraigned on federal fraud charges. They’ve pleaded not guilty to 39 counts of fraud and were released on $500K bond. Their trial is set for October 8. They’re facing up to 50 years in prison, but since Joe isn’t an American citizen, if he’s convicted, he could be deported to Italy.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West rented a home together while the house they bought is being renovated, so why are they living with her mom? That’s because Kanye refuses to allow cameras in his home. And since Kim is under contract to do “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” they’ve had to move into Kris Jenner’s home so cameras could film her.
