Brett Favre diagnosed with Parkinson’s… Eve reveals her drink was spiked… Kim Porter and Diddy’s children release statement… A legal battle against MGA Entertainment… and Former ESPN analyst blasts Travis Kelce

Brett Favre is accused of using his political connections to divert taxpayer funds intended to benefit needy families to benefit his alma mater and himself, instead. Brett’s accused of accepting over a million dollars in Temporary Assistance for the Needy Families from the state of Mississippi in exchange for speeches he never gave. He’s accused of collaborating with a non-profit and former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant to divert another $5M from that same fund to build a new volleyball arena at the University of Southern Mississippi, where Brett’s daughter also happens to play volleyball. While testifying before the House Ways and Means Committee yesterday, Brett made the surprise announcement that he’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He went on to say, “Sadly, I also lost an investment in a company that I believed was developing a breakthrough concussion drug I thought would help others, and I’m sure you’ll understand why it’s too late for me because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. This is also a cause dear to my heart. Recently, the doctor, running the company pleaded guilty to taking TANF money for his own use.”

Back on a 2018 episode of The Talk, the ladies of the panel were discussing the dangers of leaving drinks unattended, when Eve shared that she’d once been a victim. And who came to her rescue? Janet Jackson! She said, “I heard this really soft voice that’s like, ‘It’s okay. It’s okay. I’ll take care of it.’ And, I’m snot crying. And I turn around and it’s Janet Jackson.” Eve goes into more detail in her new memoir Who’s That Girl? She wrote that it happened at the 2007 MTV VMAs after party. Someone spiked Eve’s drink, and once she realized what had happened, she became hysterical. Eve wrote, “Missy (Elliot) came in to check on me, but I was just unable to collect myself. Then, who walks in? Janet Jackson. I had never met her before, and so her first introduction to me was seeing me hysterical. None of that mattered to Janet. She actually just sprang into action and told people to get aspirin, water, hot sauce, and a piece of white bread. That concoction knocked me right out of my hysteria. So, basically, Janet Jackson saved my life.”

When Kim Porter passed away in 2018 from complications of pneumonia, many believed Diddy actually murdered his ex and paid someone to cover it up. Now her alleged memoir is a best-seller on Amazon. KIM’S LOST WORDS: A journey for justice, from the other side… came out earlier this month. It was self-published by a man who claims he received a flash drive containing Kim’s diary entries from two “music industry” sources, and he believes it’s all legit. In 59 pages filled with typos, Kim — or someone pretending to be Kim — writes about Diddy’s sex parties with famous musicians, rappers and even an Oscar winning actor and his wife. She writes about how Diddy taped himself engaging in relationships with “young boys” he was managing, including one pop star. She also writes about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Diddy’s. And in her final entry, Kim writes about becoming gravely ill, texting her friends, “He got me,” and then calling 911. She then allegedly shared a thumb drive of her writing with her closest friends. Producer Chris Todd claims he ended up with a thumb drive and self-published the book under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. Now Kim and Diddy’s children are speaking out, saying, “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interest at heart.”

T.I. can truly buy whatever he likes. He and wife Tiny sued toy company MGA Entertainment for ripping off their 2009 girl group OMG Girlz to create their wildly popular L.O.L. Suprise! O.M.G. dolls. The jury sided with T.I. and Tiny, awarding them $71M in damages. Speaking to Rolling Stone afterward, Tiny said, “I mean, wow. They did more than I thought they would. I would have been happy with whatever. They blessed us more than beyond. We wanted to thank the jurors so bad, but we didn’t get the opportunity.” T.I. added, “We’re just happy we were able to come out on top and fight for creatives and our intellectual property that large corporations seem to think is just public domain and free for all to come and grab and use.”

Travis Kelce is getting beat up by sports commentators — and some football fans who don’t happen to also be Swifties — for his performance on the field. Even though the Chiefs are 3-0, NBC’s lead analyst Cris Collinsworth said he was “flabbergasted” by Travis’ performance in the Chiefs-Falcons matchup in Atlanta Sunday night. He said, “I mean, one game, big deal. Two games, alright. This is the third game now where we have not seen the magic of Mahomes and Kelce, and I can’t really explain that one.” Fellow analyst Rodney Harrison blamed it on his schedule, saying, “He’s got a lot on his plate… He’s doing a lot of different things. Media-wise, he’s playing football, he’s got other things going on. When you’re in that situation you’ve got to forget about everything else and focus 100 per cent on football. That’s the main responsibility. He just doesn’t have the same speed. He’s a good player still but I don’t believe he’s a great, great player.’ Former ESPN analyst Todd McShay piled on, asking, “Are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape? That he’s been partying all offseason?” But it’s not just during the offseason. Todd pointed out how right after Travis struggled in Game 1 against the Ravens, he hopped on a jet to hit up the US Open with Taylor and he’s drinking and having a big ol’ time. Then he asked, “I want you to take a picture from preseason 2022 and then take a picture preseason 2024, they’re barely the same human being.” As far as people defending Travis by saying he’s being double-teamed, Todd said, “Here’s the thing, bottom line with Kelce: The coverage and the respect he gets is the same, the athlete is not.” Travis addresses all the criticism on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, out today. Basically, Travis said, “Whatever it is, it’s football, baby! I’m not getting caught up in getting the targets and all that, I just want to have a successful offense and I think Pat is doing a great job of finding the open guy and making the right decisions right now, and we have to keep finding, it’s a new offense, new players, new pieces and we’re just finding how to have success throughout the season.”
