Miley Cyrus’ Moonman for sale… Justin Bieber Instagram update… DWTS celebrities… Taylor Swift got jury duty… and Gene Wilder dead at 83
Remember when Miley Cyrus took that homeless guy to the VMAs a couple years ago? She even gave Jesse Helt the Moon Man she won that night for Video of the Year so he would always remember that special night. Now that Moon Man can be yours because Jesse is selling it on eBay. Bidding starts at $10K, but you can “Buy It Now” for $15K. Sources told TMZ that Jesse is actually doing great. He recently moved into a studio apartment in LA and he’s expecting a baby in a few months. He’s actually selling the VMA to prepare for the baby’s arrival.
Justin Bieber’s fans got all excited when they thought he’d reactivated his Instagram yesterday, but it was all a false alarm. Justin shut the whole thing down a couple weeks ago because of all the mean messages people were posting about his new girlfriend Sofia Richie and then that back-and-forth with Selena Gomez. But for some reason early yesterday, those who follow Justin on IG got notifications that there were new posts and photos. In fact, #JustinReactivatedParty started trending. But Justin dashed their dreams with one simple tweet: “Still no Instagram it was an accident.”
We now know the full cast of Dancing With the Stars, Season 23! The rumors were true about Ryan Lochte, Amber Rose and Babyface. They were also true about Little Women: LA star Terra Jole and former Wizards of Waverly Place star Jake T. Austin. Also joining the lineup are Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, Marilu Henner, Vanilla Ice, retired Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, Indy racer James Hinchcliffe, former Texas governor Rick Perry, country music singer and former One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer, and — you know her as Marcia Brady! — Maureen McCormick!
Taylor Swift got summoned for jury duty in Nashville. She was questioned as a potential juror in an aggravated rape and kidnapping case. But Taylor was dismissed when she disclosed that she is still involved in a lawsuit against a former DJ she accused of groping her during a meet-and-greet. Taylor told the judge she would be more than willing to serve on a jury in any other type of case, but this one hit too close. She then posed for selfies and signed autographs for other potential jurors.
The man who brought us so much joy with movies like “Blazing Saddles,” “Young Frankenstein,” “Stir Crazy” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” has passed away. Gene Wilder was 83. His family said he’d battle Alzheimer’s for the past three years but chose to keep it private so children who knew him as Willy Wonka wouldn’t have to worry about him or be confused. Gene’s nephew said, “He simply couldn’t bear the idea of one less smile in the world.”
