Gigi Hadid Just Followed Tyler C. From ‘The Bachelorette’

VMA nominees… Lifetime is making a movie about the college admissions scandal… ‘Zoey 101’ reboot… Bindi Irwin is engaged… and Gigi Hadid just followed Tyler C. from ‘The Bachelorette’

The very first MTV Video Music Awards ceremony was held in 1984 at Radio City Music Hall and it was hosted by Bette Midler and Dan Akroyd. Now here we are, 35 years later! This year’s ceremony will be held on August 26 at the Prudential Center in Newark, with Sebastian Maniscalco hosting. From what I’ve been told, he’s a comedian. If Sebastian doesn’t have you excited to watch, maybe the list of nominees will. Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift lead with 10 nominations each. Billie Eilish is right behind with nine. Halsey and Shawn Mendes each have five. There are too many categories and artists to name, but since MTV is supposed to be about the videos, here are the nominees for Video of the Year — “a lot” by 21 Savage ft. J. Cole; “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish; “thank u, next” by Ariana Grande; “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers; “Old Town Road (Remix)” by Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus; and “You Need to Calm Down” by Taylor Swift.

Before Hallmark came along and showed everybody how it’s done, Lifetime was the place to go for you cheesy movie fix. Now Lifetime is trying to win us back with a couple of new made-for-TV movies. First, they’re making the whole college admissions scandal into a movie, creatively titled “College Admissions Scandal.” The story will focus on two wealthy moms who are obsessed with getting their teenagers into the best college possible. Sources say the two women are NOT based on Lori Laughlin and Felicity Huffman. Lifetime is also developing a movie about Wendy Williams’ as well as a documentary about her. Wendy has signed on as executive producer of the biopic.

When Britney Spears and Sam Asghari made their red carpet debut at “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” was she also debuting an engagement ring? Sources say no. It was just a nice ring. Meantime, Britney’s little sister Jamie Lynn reportedly is in talks with Nickelodeon to bring back “Zoey 101.” In the updated version, Zoey would be 28 and have a couple kids.

To celebrate her 21st birthday, Bindi Irwin’s boyfriend popped the question…at the zoo! Bindi met professional wakeboarder Chandler Powell at the Australia Zoo almost six years ago, and they’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since. Bindi announced her engagement on Instagram, saying how much she looks forward to spending forever with Chandler, adding, “Now let’s get married already!”

I don’t know why this affected me so much, but I audibly gasped when I read the news that Gigi Hadid started following Tyler C from “The Bachelorette” and he turned right around and started following her!!! And if you want to follow hi, too, he’s @TylerCameron3. And yes, he’s verified.
