Box office weekend news… Five people shot at s Chris Brown performance… Is Beyonce pregnant again?… “Entourage” filmed on the red carpet… and the Golden Globes’ big winners

“Taken 3” was expected to take the top spot at the box office this weekend and it did…only, it did WAY better than expectations! The movie earned $40.4 million in its debut weekend. “Selma” moved into more theaters this weekend and took second place with $11.2 million. “Into the Woods” was third with $9.8 million. Next weekend will bring us “Blackhat,” “Paddington” and “The Wedding Ringer.” But the movie to watch will be “American Sniper.” Over the weekend, it averaged $138K per screen and this weekend, it expands to more than 3000 screens.

Five people were shot and injured during Chris Brown’s performance at a nightclub near San Jose. Authorities say it wasn’t a scheduled performance. It was a birthday celebration and the club was rented out for the event. During the party, Chris was performing his song “Loyal” when shots rang out. Chris was not injured, but the five who were are being treated for their wounds and are expected to recover. Several people were detained and the investigation into what happened continues.

Why does Beyonce play with us like this? Because she can. She’s got everybody wondering if she’s pregnant again. Last week, she was vacationing in Cambodia with Jay Z and wearing very flowy blouses and maxi dresses. And yesterday she posted a photo on Instagram showing her body buried in the sand with mounds of sand on her belly and breasts. Beyonce revealed her first pregnancy during the 2011 MTV VMAs by whipping open her blazer and rubbing her belly. Maybe she’s going with the more subtle approach this time around.

If you were paying close attention to the red carpet arrivals at the Golden Globes last night, you may have noticed a camera crew following around Adrian Grenier and the boys from “Entourage” — Kevin Connolly, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara. Yes, they were all in character and filming for the “Entourage” movie coming out on June 5th! You could even see fans in the crowd holding up signs saying “I (Heart) Vincent Chase!”

“Boyhood” was the big winner at the Golden Globes last night, taking best drama, best director and best supporting actress for Patricia Arquette. The surprise of the night was “Grand Budapest Hotel” winning best musical or comedy. Michael Keaton won best actor, musical or comedy, for “Birdman,” which also won best screenplay. Amy Adams won best actress, musical or comedy, for her role in “Big Eyes.” Best dramatic acting awards went to Julianne Moore for “Still Alice” and Eddie Redmayne for “The Theory of Everything.”
