LeBron James’ “Space Jam: A New Legacy” is the #1 movie in the country. You can watch it in theaters or on HBO Max. You may have seen it already and you may have liked it, but the director of the original starring Michael Jordan? He is not a fan. Joe Pytka said, “The truth is that LeBron ain’t Michael.” Joe said Michael had more “emotional credibility” because the movie was based on the time where he temporarily quit basketball to try baseball. And, unlike LeBron, Joe said Michael was the biggest celebrity in the world when he made the original “Space Jam” and was able to bring in more star power for cameos. He also said the new soundtrack is “insignificant” compared to the original. Now, the current soundtrack features the likes of John Legend, Lil Wayne, the Jonas Brothers, Leon Bridges, Saweetie and more. But will any of them top “I Believe I Can Fly”???? I think not! On top of that, Joe also hated the look of Bugs Bunny in the new movie. He says that in the original, they worked hard to make sure Bugs looked like classic Bugs. But in “A New Legacy”, he looks like, quote, “one of those fluffy dolls you buy at an airport gift shop to bring your kid when your business trip has taken too long.” Joe said the new version was so boring that it took him five sittings to finish it. Does anyone else agree?

Bella Thorne is thanking the FBI for finally arrested a suspect connected to the 2019 hack of her Snapchat. Twenty-two year old Joseph O’Connor was arrested in Spain yesterday on a warrant issued by a US federal court. He also faces multiple charges in connection with the July 2020 Twitter hacking scandal, which involved 130 accounts belonging to celebrities and politicians like Barack Obama and Bill Gates, saying they were giving back to the community during the Covid-10 crisis and that if you’d send $1000 in bitcoin to a certain address, they’d send you back $2000. But back to Bella…Joseph was threatening to release nude photos of her if she didn’t post a tweet thanking him for returning her account. Instead, Bella posted the nude photos herself, saying that was her way of taking her power back. Bella posted on her Instagram, “I want to thank the FBI for searching tirelessly for the person who made my life and others a living hell.”

Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn has been defending herself against people who say she is on Britney’s payroll. Jamie Lynn hit back at one hater saying, “Haha nice try, but I have NEVER been paid a dime from my sister that is HER hard-earned money, and I am NOT entitled to a cent of it. I would not spend money I did not earn.” “The Sun” is now calling Jamie Lynn out. While it looks like she’s telling the truth about not being on the payroll, she’s definitely benefiting financially from her big sister. According to financial records, Britney is the owner of Jamie Lynn’s $1M condo in Destin, Florida, even though Jamie Lynn has claimed to own it for years.

Scooter and Yael Braun celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary on July 6 and he posted a gushing message that said, in part, “The adventure is just beginning.” A hot minute later, the couple announced their separation. Yesterday, Scooter pulled the trigger and filed for divorce. The couple has a prenup, which reportedly has Scooter paying spousal support to Yael. But with or without Scooter’s money, she’ll be fine. Yael is heir to a South African mining fortune. They also have 3 children, so that support has to be worked out.

Halsey was so upset with the way her interview with “Allure” magazine turned out, she vowed “#NoMorePress goodbye.” In case you didn’t know, Halsey prefers the pronouns “she” and “they.” But “Allure” only referred to her as a “she” throughout the article. She also said the magazine “bastardized” what she said growing up as a bi-racial child who is “white passing.” Halsey tweeted, “…Your admin bastardized a quote where I discuss the privilege of being the white child of a black parent + intentionally used a portion that was the antithesis of the point I was trying to make….All of this ironically on the tails of an article where I give your article the intimate admission that I hate doing press because I get exploited and misquoted. Do f***ing better….?” Halsey has since deleted the tweets but in response, “Allure” posted an apology and said they would be “adjusting our cover story with Halsey to both “she” AND “they” pronouns.
