Flavor Flav to save… Simon Cowell on the look… Alec Baldwin’s reality series… Demi Moore & Joe Jonas rumors… and Halsey Releases ‘The End’ as she reveals secret health struggle…

Red Lobster filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last mont. They issued a statement explaining, “Filing “for bankruptcy does not mean we are going out of business. In fact, it means just the opposite. It is the legal process that allows us to make changes to our business and our cost structure so that Red Lobster can continue as a stronger company going forward.” While they did close dozens of locations, Red Lobster still has over 600 restaurants open. However, a lot of people hear the word “bankruptcy” and fear the worst….like Flavor Flav. Flav decided he needed to take action. To save his favorite franchise, Red Lobster rolled up to a Red Lobster with his family and ordered EVERYTHING on the menu. He posted a photo of all the grub and captioned it, “Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help Red Lobster and save the Cheddar Bay Biscuits.” Flav has been in a very generous mood lately. A member of the US women’s water polo team posted on her Instagram that she and her teammates were working multiple jobs trying to raise enough money to Paris for the Olympics. Flav came across the post on his feed, and commented, “AYYY YOOO,,, as a girl dad and supporter of all women’s sports – imma personally sponsor you my girl,,, whatever you need. And imma sponsor the whole team. My manager is in touch with your agent and imma use all my relationships and resources to help all y’all even more. That’s a FLAVOR FLAV promise.”

It’s been almost 14 years since five boys individually auditioned for The X Factor UK and Simon Cowell decided to lump them all together for a group called One Direction. But Simon says, “Every generation deserves a megastar boy band.” But, as he explained to Rolling Stone, “The industry tends to focus on solo artists, so it usually takes someone from outside to put a group together.” And Simon believes he’s the guy to make it happen. That’s why he’s holding open auditions all across the UK for what he hopes will be the next mega boy band. Those who make the first cut will then have to go through a rigorous boy band boot camp, but there’s no guarantee that lighting is going to strike twice. Simon says, “I genuinely have no idea what’s going to happen! We might uncover an incredible group; we might not get there. What if no one shows up to auditions? That could be awkward. There is no guaranteed path to success – anything can happen, but that’s what’s exciting for me, and that’s why I’m doing this.” And even though there’s no network or streaming service attached to this project, cameras are rolling for a potential docuseries.

People announced back in November that Alec and Hilaria Baldwin were pitching a reality TV show about their family life, and now it’s finally happening. Yesterday the couple announced The Baldwins is coming to TLC sometime next year. Together, the couple have 7 children. Alec shares 28-year-old daughter Ireland with his ex-wife Kim Basinger. He and Hilaria have six children between the ages of 10 years and 19 months. Interesting timing, considering that Alec is going on trial next month for involuntary manslaughter over the fatal shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. So Alec may or may not be in prison when The Baldwins debuts.

Demi Moore and Joe Jonas met through mutual friends at the Cannes Film Festival, and now people are wondering if something is brewing between these two. Yes, there’s a big age gap, but Demi was 15 years older than Ashton Kutcher. However, at 61, she’s 27 years older than Joe! But Joe tried marrying younger, and we all see how that went. And perhaps he’s looking at his baby brother Nick’s successful marriage to a 10-year-old Priyanka Chopra and decided to give a more mature woman a try. Ether way, it’s fun to speculate. One source told the Daily Mail that Demi and Joe have already dabbled in a little romance, while another said there’s no flirting going on whatsoever.

Halsey posted a carousel of videos on her Instagram yesterday letting us know she’s been dealing with some serious health issues. She captioned them, “long story short, i’m Lucky to be alive. short story long, i wrote an album. It begins with The End. out now.” While Halsey didn’t share her diagnosis, she tagged the Lupus Research Alliance and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In the first video she posted, Halsey is rubbing her legs, which seem to be hurting her. She said, “I feel like an old lady. I told myself I’m giving myself two more years to be sick. At 30, I’m having a rebirth and I’m not gonna be sick and I’m gonna look super hot and have lots of energy and I’m just gonna get to re-do my 20s in my 30s.” Halsey turns 30 in September. In the meantime, she’s pouring her heart out in an acoustic guitar ballad called The End.
