Listen to “Showbiz – Sept 22, 2022” on Spreaker.

Producer Barbara Broccoli says that whoever wants a shot at being the next James Bond needs to understand that this is a 10- to 12-year commitment. Barbara told Variety that not everyone wants to sign on for that and that it was “hard enough” getting Daniel Craig to do it! She explained, “A lot of people think, ‘Oh yeah, it’d be fun to do one.’ Well. That ain’t gonna work.” In a previous interview, Barbara told The Hollywood Reporter, “I don’t think a woman should play James Bond. I believe in making characters for women and not just having women play men’s roles. I don’t think there are enough great roles for women, and it’s very important to me that we make movies for women about women.” She also said that the next James Bond should be British, and that he could be of any ethnicity.

Brad Pitt has a new skincare line called Le Domaine, and he credits his former fiancee Gwyneth Paltrow for the inspiration. The two of them started dating in 1994, got engaged two years later and broke up shortly after that. Brad was not only impressed by the Goop empire Gwyneth has built, he said she’s the one who got him to wash his face twice a day! Brad’s new skincare line contains antioxidants made with grapes from his Chateau Miraval winery — which has been the center of a nasty legal battle between him and his other famous ex, Angelina Jolie. In June, Brad sued Angelina for selling her 50% stake to a Russian oligarch. He claims she their deal says she cannot sell her portion to someone unless they both agree. And then a few weeks ago, Angelina countersued Brad for $250M, claiming that he took excessive control of the winery and cut her out of the business.

While fans are demanding that she gets fired, Lisa Rinna is demanding a raise. In fact, Lisa said if Bravo wants her to come back to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” next season, it’ll cost them a cool $2M. That would make Lisa the highest paid Housewife of all time. Currently, the honor belongs to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss, who reportedly earns just under $2M. Some are speculating that Lisa sees the writing on the wall, which is why she’s asking for a ridiculous amount of money that Bravo isn’t willing to pay, giving her the excuse to say she walked away before they can fire her.

Season 2 of “The Kardashians” is now streaming on Hulu. In the first episode, we get a lot more details into the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal. Khloe claims that Tristan encouraged her to go ahead and do an embryo transfer with a surrogate, so their daughter True could have a full-blooded sibling. They did the embryo transfer just a few days before Thanksgiving. But the whole time, Khloe says Tristan knew he was expecting a baby with fitness model Maralee Nichols and failed to let her in on that. But in the first week of December, Khloe found out about Maralee and it just devastated her. She put off announcing she was also expecting a baby with Tristan because she knew she would be mocked ruthlessly by online trolls. The surrogate actually went into labor a little early. Khloe asked big sister Kim to be in th delivery room with her, but she did allow Tristan to come to the hospital to meet their son. In a confessional, Khloe said, “Ever since December, it’s been this dark cloud looming over me. Every single day, I’ve been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy. It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me.” But we have to wait a while to learn her son’s name. As they were leaving the hospital, Khloe looked at her new baby in his car seat and said, “No name Johnson, over here.” New episodes of “The Kardashians” drop every Thursday.

Last night was the last of Harry Style’s 15 sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. Harry wanted to make it a huge party, leaving a feather boa on each seat in the house. He also surprised everyone by singing “Ever Since New York,” which he performed during his first solo tour and hasn’t sung live in four years. Harry’s older lover Olivia Wilde was in the crowd, apparently coming straight from her interview with Stephen Colbert. Also sitting front row were Drew Barrymore and Gayle King, who surprised Harry during his encore by announcing that a huge banner was being placed permanently in the arena to mark his record-setting 15 sold-out shows. Can we not all agree that Gayle King is the most random choice ever? Anyway, Harry was moved to tears, taking a tissue from a fan and telling the crowd, “Any time that you come to Madison Square Garden and you see that, remember it’s because of you. That is ours.” He also said he was going to come back into the arena after everyone was gone and just look at his banner for a while. Next up for Harry? Six shows in Austin, then six more in Chicago before he heads off to Inglewood, CA, for the final 15 shows of the US leg of his tour. After that, Harry is off to Mexico and then finally, the UK.
