“John Wick: Chapter 4” debuted in first place this weekend – duh! – with $73.5M. It’s the best opening of the franchise. The first opened in 2014 with just $14M. But three years later, the second debuted with $30.4M, and the third one in 2019 debuted with $56.8M. Does this mean there will be a fifth John Wick?? Director Chad Stahelski says he and Keanu Reeves are “done for the moment.” He told “The Hollywood Reporter,” “We’re going to give John Wick a rest. I’m sure the studio has a plan. If everyone loves it and it goes kooky, then we’ll take a quiet minute.” Stahelski said when their press tour ends in Japan, he and Keanu will “have a couple 20-year-old whiskies and write some ideas on napkins. If those ideas stick, maybe we’ll make a movie.” But this isn’t the last we’ll see of John Wick. Keanu will join Ana de Armas in a John Wick spinoff movie called “Ballerina.” There’s also a 3-part spinoff series called “The Continental” set to premiere in September on Peacock.

Congratulations to Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend Erin Darke. They’re expecting their first child together. Daniel and Erin are notoriously private about their relationship. They met on the 2013 set of “Kill Your Darlings.” Daniel said he wasn’t acting when his character flirted with hers. He told “Playboy” back in 2015, “There’s a moment when she makes me laugh, and I’m laughing as me and not as my character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble.” Like I said, the couple is super private. They made their last red carpet appearance together over a year ago for the premiere of his Amazon Prime movie “The Lost City.” Before that, it had been 8 years before they were on a red carpet together!

Just a couple days shy of their 12th anniversary, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth announced they are getting a divorce. They share 10-year-old son Tennessee. A source told Page Six, “There’s no big scandal or drama, just two people who essentially became co-parents and don’t really have any romantic feelings for each other anymore.” Things started to change a couple years ago when Reese sold her Hello Sunshine production company for almost a billion dollars. Jim had a piece of that, but not as big as what Reese had. A source said after that, Reese and Jim went “in different directions.” Reese kept on grinding, but the source says Jim became a completely different person. Not only did he lose his motivation to work, he started getting tattoos and wearing chunky jewelry and dressing like somebody half his age. In other words, Jim is 42 and going through a midlife crisis.

On Friday, Selena Gomez posted on her IG Story, “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. “This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this to all stop.” Perhaps Selena was feeling generous toward Hailey on Friday because she had so much fun the night before. A young woman on TikTok says she works as a hostess at a restaurant in NYC and her friend who works as a hostess at another restaurant in the city texted her that she’d just seated Selena and Zayn Malik, and they were holding hands and making out. There are no photos to back this up, and celebrity gossip DeuxMoi posted on her IG Story, “Usually when (Selena is) out in NYC someone writes in seeing her and I always thought Zayn stayed in Pennsylvania” along with a shrugging emoji.

At the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Emily Ratajkowski was photographed sitting on a couch next to Olivia Wilde. Two weeks later, she was videoed making out with Olivia’s ex-boyfriend! Harry Styles didn’t care who was watching when he had Emily got all slobbery outside a club in Tokyo. This was his teenage dream come true! During a 2014 interview, Harry said Emily was his celebrity crush. But skeptics are calling this a PR stunt, probably because they don’t want this hookup to be true.
