Morgan Wallen reschedules Tampa… Mahomes baby No. 3… Jennifer Lopez & Violet hangout… Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes spotted together… and Hollywood mourns several dead stars

Just a couple hours before he was set to take the stage in Tampa Friday night, Morgan Wallen canceled. He tweeted, “I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today. I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight’s Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week’s Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.” Fans expressed their displeasure in the comments, with one commenting, “U gonna refund the money for the 1000$ tickets I bought???” and “Thanks for the last minute notice!! I just threw a chair at the local bar…WTF!!” But Jelly Roll tried to make the best of the situation. He was set to perform as Morgan’s opening act, and since that wasn’t going to happen, Jelly Roll decided to host a free show at a smaller venue for anyone with tickets to the cancelled show.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are expecting Baby No. 3! In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared video outtakes from a photoshoot featuring a sheet of sonogram photos and soon-to-be 20-month-old Big Brother Patrick Bronze Lavon III along with Big Sister 2.0 Sterling Skye, who turned 3 in February. Brittany captioned the video “Round three, here we come” with a white heart emoji, adding Bruno Mars’ Count on Me for the big announcement. Patrick and Brittany were high school sweethearts who managed to stay together despite going to different colleges. He proposed in September 2020 and they were married in Hawaii two years later.

We’re not sure what’s going on with Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage, but her relationship with his kids seems to be going strong. At least with the oldest! While Ben has been moping around LA, Jennifer has been summering in the Hamptons. Apparently, 18-year-old Violet thought that sounded WAY more fun, so she flew out to spend some time with her stepmom. The two of them were spotted at an outdoor antiques market on Saturday. Meantime, after trying to sell it quietly, Jen and Ben’s marital home has officially hit the market. In June of last year, they bought the 12BR/24BA Beverly Hills mansion for $60.85M, but sources say Ben always hated it there. Now they’re trying to unload it for $68M.

Is this going to be Round 3 for Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello? The two of them sat together at the Copa América final in Miami yesterday. There was no PDA, but they did seem happy to be there together. On their first go round, Shawn and Camila dated from 2019-2021, hunkering down with her family during the Covid lockdown. Two years later, they were caught kissing at Coachella and hung out for about 3 months before calling it quits again. Maybe third time’s the charm for these two crazy kids….

I never like to make death stories No. 1 in the Showbiz Top 5, but there were just too many this weekend to have it be any other way. On Friday, sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer passed away at the age of 96. Her rep said, “Her son and daughter were with her and holding her hand at that moment…It was as peacefully as she could possibly go.” Then Saturday morning we woke up to the news that Richard Simmons had passed away, just one day after celebrating his 76th birthday. According to TMZ, Richard’s longtime housekeeper found him Saturday morning and called 911. Apparently, Richard had fallen in the bathroom the night before, but we’re not sure if that’s where he was found. Later that same day, we learned that Shannen Doherty had passed away at the age of 53. In 2015 Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer, and two years later, she announced she was in remission. But in 2019, Shannen learned the cancer had metastasized as Stage 4 in her brain and bones. Just last month on her Let’s Be Clear podcast, Shannen announced she’d started a new round of chemotherapy and was hopeful this would work. Just last Monday, Shannen cohosted the premiere episode of the Charmed rewatch podcast, The House of Halliwell, alongside her fellow Charmed costars Holly Marie Combs, Drew Fuller, and Brian Krause. And yesterday we learned that former Baltimore Ravens receiver/kick returner Jacoby Jones unexpectedly passed away in his sleep. He was only 40. Jacoby was set to be the head coach of the Beaumont Renegades, a National Arena League team set to begin play in 2025.
