Portia de Rossi turned 50 on Tuesday, and to celebrate the milestone birthday, she surprised her wife Ellen DeGeneres with a vow renewal ceremony. Their 15th anniversary is coming up this August, but Portia didn’t want to wait. She gathered some of their closest friends, including Courtney Cox, Brad Pitt’s exes Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. She zipped herself back into the same dress she wore at their first wedding and then asked Kris Jenner to officiate. Ellen was so shocked Portia pulled this off, she was at a loss for words. But she did end up telling her bride, “I just adore you, I love you, I would not be on this earth without you. You save me every day. Thank you for saving me every day. I’m the lucky one.”

Chloe Cherry was an adult film star who landed a gig playing drug addict Faye in Season 2 of “Euphoria” last year. After being called one of the shows breakout stars, Cherry gave up porn to concentrate on a serious acting career. But things have hit a snag in Chloe’s personal life. Over Christmas, she was back home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, shopping at a local boutique. The owners of Jenny & the Clowder have accused Chloe of shoplifting a $28 blouse. They gave police surveillance footage showing her going into a dressing room with this one particular shirt. When she came out, she bought some things, but not that shirt, which mysteriously vanished into thin air. Police say they confronted Chloe about it, and she admitted to taking the blouse and then handed it back over to them. However, her rep says this is just one big misunderstanding, and Chloe thought she had paid for everything. The rep said, “In no way did she ‘admit’ to taking the blouse, since that was not the case. This story seems to be more about a local store trading on a celebrity’s name more than anything else.” Cherry faces one misdemeanor count of retail theft. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 22, with her court hearing on March 1.

Nick Carter has filed a counter lawsuit against both Shannon Ruth and Melissa Schulman, claiming the two women orchestrated a sexual misconduct conspiracy to get money out of him. Melissa is a former member of the group Dream. In 2017, she came forward with claims that Nick assaulted her back when she was 18. Fast forward to this past December when Ruth accused Nick of assaulting her on a tour bus back in 2001, when she was only 17. In his lawsuit, Nick accuses Melissa and her father of grooming and coaching Ruth, who is autistic, into making these claims about him. Nick has never been criminally charged and has never made offers to settle or negotiate with either woman. He says this has all big one big extortion attempt and he’s suing them for over $2M.

TMZ is reporting that Vanessa Hudgens is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, baseball player Cole Tucker. Cole played four seasons with the Pirates before signing a minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies in December. TMZ believes the couple actually got engaged in November while on vacation in Paris. She’s 34; he’s 26. This will be the first marriage for both.

The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and Page Six believe they’ve figured out the mystery movie star Jessica Simpson claims she hooked up with in her short story, “Movie Star: They Always Say They’re Single.” Page Six did all the official sleuthing, and they say it’s Mark Wahlberg. Jessica says her first encounter was at the 2001 MTV VMAs, where the movie star, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, undressed her with his eyes. Fast forward to 2006, well after Jessica was divorced from Nick Lachey, she says she ran into this “massive movie star” again in 2006 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where he was getting ready for another big awards show. That was the year Mark went to the Golden Globes with his then girlfriend (now wife) Rhea Durham, who was also pregnant at the time. Jessica said the actor convinced her that his relationship was over, so she kept on seeing him. She also says she visited him on a movie set with a director “known to even the most casual movie fan.” Page Six deduced that was about the time Mark started filming “The Happening” directed by M. Night Shyamalan. After a while, Jessica said she started to feel like a call girl and that the movie star was hiding her from his girlfriend, so she ended things, which left him in tears, pleading for her to come back to him. Reps for Jessica and Mark haven’t responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
