I was just catching up on my DVR’d episodes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” last night, so I was especially sad to read this online this morning. Kandi Burruss Tucker’s mother-in-law, Miss Sharon, has passed away. She suffered a massive stroke on Monday. She slipped into a coma and died yesterday. Kandi’s husband, Todd, went on Instagram to express his grief. “I don’t know what to do? I’m lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She’s in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!” Todd and his mother were exceptionally close. Kandi said he’d call her every morning and they talked several times throughout the day. And she had to deal with Kandi’s HORRIBLE mother, Joyce, which earned her an extra crown in Heaven, I’m sure….

You could feel Pharrell’s pain as the final two members of his team were sent home from “The Voice” last night in what ended up being a triple elimination. Joining Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey out the door, was Team Gwen’s Ryan Sill, who FINALLY got sent home after umpteen Twitter saves. This week, viewers chose to save Chris Jamison from Team Adam. So now we are left with the Top 5 — Chris, Matt McAndrew and Damien from Team Adam; Taylor John Williams from Team Gwen; and Craig Wayne Boyd from Team Blake. But remember, all the eliminated contestants will be invited back to perform on a special wild card episode and one of those artists will get to rejoin the competition.

If you’re a “Downton Abbey” fan, this is going to tickle your fun parts. George Clooney is making his British TV debut on the Downton Abbey Christmas special! A clip was released and it doesn’t reveal who George will be playing or why he’s there, but Cora apparently mistakes him for Lord Grantham. The episode airs on December 18 as part of the British network ITV’s Text Santa fundraising telethon.

Warner Bros. has confirmed that Jared Leto has joined the cast of “Suicide Squad.” He’ll play The Joker in the DC Comics movie that focuses on a group of super villains thrown together by the government to carry out high-risk missions. Tom Hardy is Rick Flagg, the leader of the Suicide Squad. Will Smith will play Deadshot, an expert sniper and one of Batman’s enemies. Jai Courtney has signed on to play Boomerang, who is an enemy of The Flash. Cara Delevingne is Enchantress and Margot Robbie, Harley Quinn. Warner Bros. reportedly wants Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer or Oprah to plan Amanda Waller, a character similar to Marvel’s Nick Fury. The movie is set for an August 2016 release, five months after “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Taylor Swift was invited back to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year. Model Jessica Hart was not. Remember last year when Jessica blabbed that Taylor didn’t fit in with the vibe of the show because she wasn’t sexy? There were rumors going around at the time that Jessica was fired for those comments, but the president of Victoria’s Secret said that was not true and that they planned on working together with Jessica in the future. Fast forward one year. Sources say Taylor made it clear that she didn’t want to share the stage with a model who dissed her like that, so Jessica was stripped of her Angel wings and pulled from the line up.
