“Barbenheimer” has come and gone, and when the global box office totals of both “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” are combined, we just lived through the biggest box office weekend of all time. “Barbie” opened in first with $155M domestically and over $300M worldwide. “Oppenheimer” was second with $80.5M here at home and $165M globally. “Barbie” also set a record for being the biggest opening weekend ever for a film directed by a woman. Greta Gerwig also co-wrote the screenplay.

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are back together, but just as dysfunctional as ever. They went on a cutesy date to the Orange County Fair Thursday night and as they were getting off a ride, some guy just randomly told Megan she was, quote, “beautiful as (BLANK).” MGK didn’t like that. So he took a swing at the guy, who swung back but missed. When MGK and Megan’s bodyguard jumped in to break it up, he ended up shoving Megan into the metal railing. She was more startled than injured, but the brother of the guy MGK punched said he hasn’t decided yet if he’s going to file charges.

The 1975 has been banned from performing in Malaysia after Matty Healy kissed bassist Ross MacDonald at the country’s Good Vibes Festival in Kuala Lumpur on Friday. It was the first night of a 3-night festival. When he got onstage, Matty told the audience he’d made a mistake when they booked these shows because he didn’t realize Malaysia had such strict anti-LGBTQIA+ laws. Not only is homosexuality illegal in Malaysia, those convicted face up to 20 years in prison. Matty said he thought about canceling the concerts, but then decided he didn’t want to punish his fans for their government’s beliefs. For emphasis, he planted a kiss on his bassist, and that’s when the government showed Matty who’s boss. They canceled the next two nights of the festival, and The 1975 turned around and canceled their next two shows in Indonesia and Taiwan.

At her show in Seattle on Saturday, Taylor Swift couldn’t make it through her surprise song “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” without busting out laughing. The song was a diss track aimed at Kanye West, who ignited their long-standing feud when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs. Taylor was performing the acoustic version of the song and when she sang the line, “And here’s to you ‘cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do,” she started laughing and said, “I can’t even say it with a straight face.” Taylor’s other surprise performance that night was “Everything Has Changed” from her “Red” album, the first time she’s sung that live in 10 years. And during the “Evermore” portion of her tour, Haim joined Taylor for the first-ever performance of “No Body, No Crime.”

For the first time since his “medical complication” in April, Jamie Foxx is speaking for himself. In a 3-minute video, Jamie said he had been to hell and back, but he wanted to assure his fans that he is not paralyzed or blind. He even moved his eyes around to prove it. He also thanked his sister and daughter for saving his life and for keeping the details about his hospitalization so private. Jamie said, “I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear an update, but to be honest with you, I didn’t want you to see me like that…I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, or a television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.” Jamie also thanked God and all the medical staff who got him through this. He said, “I’m here on earth because of some great people. I’m here on Earth because of God, man. I’m on way back.”
