If you think awards shows have gotten boring, there’s a chance this one won’t be. Cardi B will host the American Music Awards, Sunday, Nov. 21, on ABC. Cardi is a 5-time winner at the AMAs, and made history when she became the first female rapper to win favorite hip-hop song twice. This year, she’s up for three awards. Olivia Rodrigo is the one to watch. She leads with seven nominations and if she wins at least five, Olivia will have broken the record for the most wins by a first-time nominee. The Weeknd follows Olivia with 6 nominations, while Bad Bunny, Doja Cat and Giveon each have five. Taylor Swift is one of several artists up for three awards. She already holds the record for the most AMA wins ever with 32. And the late Pop Smoke is also up for three and could win his first AMA posthumously. Now, here’s the thing….winners are voted entirely by fans, and all voting is taking place on TikTok. They say to just pull up the app and search “AMAs,” but I did all that and can’t figure out how to vote so I’m out.

Jay-Z was one of the last holdouts, but he has finally joined Instagram. His first — and so far only — post is the poster for the Netflix movie “The Harder They Fall,” which he co-produced. He also posted an IG Story to promote it. Jay-Z was also in charge of the movie’s soundtrack and appears on several tracks. Unlike J-Si, Jay-Z is verified. In his first 24 hours, he’s already racked up almost 2M followers, but the only person he follows is Beyoncé. She returned the favor and Jay-Z is the one and only person she follows, as well. But he has a way to go before he catches up to his wife’s 216M followers!

Kristen Stewart announced in an interview yesterday that she’s engaged. She and her screenwriter girlfriend Dylan Meyer have dated for two years and Dylan finally popped the question. Kristen said, “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.” Two years ago, Kristen said she never wanted to get married, but then she and Dylan started dating. The two of them had actually met eight years ago, but reunited at a friends party. Kristen said she fell in love right away and three months in, she was ready to be engaged. Two years later, she is!

A source told Page Six that while Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are “just friends” for now, she is definitely “intrigued” by him. When Kim hosted SNL a couple weeks ago, she kissed Pete in their Jasmine and Aladdin skit. But that’s not the first time they met. A couple years ago, Pete was at a birthday dinner for Kid Cudi and Kim was there with her then-husband Kanye. This past weekend, Kim and Pete went to Knott’s Scary Farm together, which is where they were photographed holding hands on a roller coaster. But some are speculating that Pete is still hung up on Phoebe Dynevor and he’s hoping these photo with Kim will make her jealous!

While her fans have put all the blame on Jamie Spears for controlling his daughter’s life through a conservatorship, Britney is laying the blame at her mother’s feet! In a since-deleted Instagram post, Britney put up this quote: “The most dangerous animal in the world is a silent smiling woman.” She then added a long caption that threw a lot of shade — some of it cryptic, some of it very obvious. Britney starts off by saying she hadn’t smiled in a long time and when she finally did, her mom told her she was acting weird and asked what was wrong with her. She went on to say that she knows she sounds mean, but it was her mother Lynne who gave Jamie the conservatorship idea in the first place! She said, “I will never get those years back …. she secretly ruined my life …” She went on to say “…My dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship … but tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me!!!!” This may have been a reaction to Jamie’s legal filing on Monday. His attorney asked the court for an immediate and unconditional end to the conservatorship. The next hearing is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 12.
