People’s Choice Awards recap… Clay Aiken’s grumpy tweets…Dr. Oz helps Charlie Sheen… Are Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas together?… and Janet Jackson clears up rumors about her health
Jane Lynch hosted the People’s Choice Awards last night. When it comes to acting, everybody gets a chance to win! They break the awards up into every possible category. For movies, the people loved Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum for plain old acting, but when it comes to DRAMATIC acting, they wanted Johnny Depp and Dakota Johnson… for ACTION acting, they were all about Chris Hemsworth and Shailene Woodley… and for FUNNY acting, they picked Kevin Hart and Melissa McCarthy. Selena Gomez even won for Favorite Animated Movie Voice.
Clay Aiken must’ve been very grumpy when he was sitting at home watching “American Idol” last night because he was slamming the judges on Twitter. “Watching @americanidol for the first time in a decade. You never know what you’ve got til it’s gone. Well… now I know why the ratings are down.” He especially didn’t like the way they handled one less-than-stellar audition, tweeting, “Oh good Lord… those boring ass responses from the judges!? Where is Simon when you need him!? That guy need a hook to pull him off stage. It’s VERY clear now that @SimonCowell was the reason @AmericanIdol was a hit. I’ve watched root canals more entertaining than these judges.”
Ever since Charlie Sheen announced he’s HIV positive, Dr. Oz has been serving as his medical mentor. Page Six is reporting that Charlie will be on his show Monday to give an update on his progress. According to a source, Dr. Oz got Charlie to give up drinking and start jogging and doing yoga.
Whether or not they’re an actual couple or just hooking up is to be determined, but Kate Hudson definitely has something going on with Nick Jonas. They were spotted together again at a Starbucks at the Mammoth Mountain ski resort in California. Sources say she was trying to keep her head down, but people recognized them anyway. Just a reminder, she’s 36 and he’s 23.
Janet Jackson wants to clear up one thing — she does not have cancer. She posted a snippet of her song “The Great Forever” on her Twitter account. Some of the lyrics say, “Sources say but where ya gettin’ it/Don’t create the truth you like.” After the clip, she wrote, “Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
