Nominations for the 65th annual Grammy Awards will be announced during a livestream you can watch at live.grammy.com starting at 11am Central. Olivia Rodrigo, Machine Gun Kelly, John Legend, Luis Fonsi, Smokey Robinson and CBS anchors Gayle King and Nate Burleson have the honor of making the announcements. We can probably expect to hear the names Taylor, Beyonce, Harry and Adele repeated heavily. Lizzo and Steve Lacy had some big hits this year, too. But we have to wait till later this morning to find out who’s nominated and then until Feb. 5 to find out who wins. To qualify for a nomination, submissions had to have been “commercially released, nationally distributed and available from within the eligibility period,” which was from Oct. 1, 2021 through Sept. 30, 2022. This year, the Grammys have added five new categories, including Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), Best Alternative Music Performance, and Best Americana Performance, plus a special award will go to the Best Song for Social Change.

Post Malone made some history yesterday when “Sunflower” — his 2018 collaboration with Swae Lee from the “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” soundtrack — became the most certified single in recording history. To reach platinum status, an album has to sell 1M copies, but a single has to sell 2M copies. “Sunflower” is now 17X platinum! That’s 34M copies! Post told TMZ Hip Hop that Swae Lee deserves a lot of credit for the song’s success, saying he was heavily involved in arranging the melodies. Post also said he and Swae are working on some new stuff that we could be hearing very soon.

Not every celebrity walks around with a bodyguard. Frankie Grande was walking down the street in NYC when he got mugged. Sources in the NYPD told TMZ that Frankie got punched in the back of the head and two teenagers grabbed his bag and took off. A few hours later, the 17- and 13-year-old boys tried to use one of Frankie’s credit cards at a nearby smoke shop. I don’t know how it happened so quickly, but officers found out, raced to the shop and arrested the two teenagers. They were booked on assault, robbery, and grand larceny charges.

There were rumors that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have been keeping in touch with each other behind the scenes, but maybe not if this rumor is true. DeuxMoi got a tip — that hasn’t been verified yet — that Pete was seen on a date with Emily Ratajkowski, the model most famously known for topless dancing in the “Blurred Lines” video who recently filed for divorce from her cheating husband. The source told DeuxMoi that Pete and Emily were spotted having a romantic dinner in Brooklyn and his hands were all over her.

Former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno is lucky to be alive. Jay has over 180 cars and 160 motorcycles that he keeps in a massive garage in Burbank. When he’s not doing standup gigs, you’ll find Jay tinkering in his garage. TMZ was first to report that Jay was woking on one of his cars when it exploded without warning, burning Jay seriously on the side of his face. From his hospital bed, Jay told TMZ that he was trying to fix a clogged fuel line on his 1907 White Steam Car when there was a fuel leak that sprayed gasoline on his face and hands. Suddenly, a spark triggered and explosion and set Jay on fire! Thankfully, his friend was there and jumped on Jay to smother the flames and then called 911. Jay is now in the hospital recovering from 3rd degree burns to his hands and the left side of his face. He told TMZ he expects to be in the hospital between 5 and 10 days.
