Spoiler Alert: “The Voice” winner… Is DWTS Peta Murgatroyd pregnant?… Kellan Lutz on the dating scene… Jason Derulo is single again… Jay Z breaks his silence on Beyoncé’s Lemonade
A couple of champions were crowned on TV last night. For the first time, a female coach has won “The Voice.” Team Christina’s Alisan Porter was named the winner. She’s the former child star most famous for playing “Curly Sue.” And on “Dancing With the Stars,” the mirror ball trophy went to Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd. It’s not Nyle’s first time winning a competition on TV. He also won “America’s Next Top Model.” MMA fighter Paige VanZant took second and ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee came in third.
Speaking of Peta Murgatroyd, she became engaged to former DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy back in December. Multiple sources have told “People” that the couple is now expecting their first baby. After her win last night, reporters asked her about a possible wedding date and she said they’ve “chosen some dates” but nothing is set. Maybe having a baby on the way will speed up those plans a bit.
Since Jenna is exclusively on Raya — which is referred to as “the Soho House of online dating apps” — she might want to do a little digging and see if she can find Kellan Lutz. A source told Page Six that Kellan has been “feverishly attacking the dating app scene.” But even though he’s using his own picture for his profile, he goes by the name Sebastian. But despite that, he reveals who he really is pretty quickly to his matches, so what’s the point, really?
Jason Derulo and Daphne Joy have broken up after about 6 months of dating. Sources told TMZ that she’s the one who initiated the breakup and that there are no hard feelings. Daphne has a 3-year-old son named Sire with her former boyfriend, 50 Cent.
It’s been about a month since Beyonce bashed all the men in her life with “Lemonade” and turned the Beyhive on Rachel Roy, aka “Becky with the good hair.” Now Jay Z has finally responded with “All the Way Up” — a collaboration with Fat Joe, Infared, Rema Ma and French Montana. They debuted it at Yankee Stadium and now it’s streaming exclusively on Tidal. Here are a few of the lyrics Jay Z raps — “You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions. Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is. Survival of the littlest. (or “lit-est,” depending on how you hear it.) Eh. No real bombshell there. Jay Z also gives the late Prince some love — “Prince left his masters where they safe and sound / We never gonna let the elevator take him down.”
