Ryan Adams has come up with the most brilliant idea EVER. He announced yesterday that he’s in the process of recording an entire album of Taylor Swift cover songs from “1989.” Taylor is so excited about it she tweeted him, “I WILL PASS OUT.” And Ryan tweeted out, “Yes. Just finished Style. Badass tunes, Taylor. We’re sandblasting them and they’re holding steady.” Taylor tweeted back that she’d have a hard time sleeping “tonight or ever again.”
Kelly Ripa and hubby Mark Consuelos apparently do EVERYTHING together. He posted a picture of the two of them sitting on the stairs wearing sad faces and matching boots on their left feet, captioning it, “Can’t make this sh#! Up.” And then Kelly tweeted, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW??????????? WTF?????” She broke her foot in four places during an exercise class accident, and now Mark has suffered a tear in his calf so they’re BOTH hobbling around in casts!
Right after she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Mariah Carey met up with her powerhouse celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser at Nobu to figure out how to get Nick Cannon to sign those divorce papers. Apparently, Nick’s been dragging his feet in their divorce and reportedly, it’s all about money. But now that Mariah is dating this Australian billionaire James Packer, she’s super motivated to get this divorce done.
In Lifetime’s upcoming “Unauthorized Full House Story,” the actor playing John Stamos is seen telling the director that the Olsen twins aren’t cutting it and they need to get new babies to play Michelle Tanner. Is this true?? John himself says YES! Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday, John admitted, “It was very difficult to get the shot. So I (said), ‘Get them out … !’ That is actually 100 percent accurate. They brought in a couple of unattractive redheaded kids. We tried that for a while and that didn’t work. (The producers) were like, all right, get the Olsen twins back. And that’s the story.” By the way, two episodes of the Netflix series “Fuller House” are already in the can.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux told everybody they were celebrating his 44th birthday a little early, but SURPRISE! It was their wedding! Jennifer planned the whole thing with her BFF Courteney Cox. They kept all the wedding decorations hidden on some nearby property until just before the ceremony. Among the 80 guests were Chelsea Handler, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Howard Stern, Sia, Tobey Maguire, Will Arnett, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, and Ellen DeGeneres. No Portia de Rossi? I’m not seeing her mentioned anywhere…Anyway, Courteney served as maid of honor and tattoo artist Scott Campbell was best man. Some guests stayed and partied until 3am and Courteney was the last to leave. A few hours later, the newlyweds boarded a private jet for their honeymoon in Bora Bora.
