Wendy Williams’ pals stepping up… Tiger Woods is back… Celebrity reality TV returns… Michael Strahan space flight delayed… and Jennifer Aniston opens up

At this point, Wendy Williams might not make it back this season AT ALL. Producers were hoping she could prop herself up in that purple chair before the end of the year, but Page Six says that’s definitely not happening. After holiday break, guest hosts will continue to fill in for Wendy through January. They’ll re-evaluate after that. So for January, you can look forward to Fat Joe and Remy Ma filling in for week one. They’ll be followed by Bravo-superfan Michael Rapaport. Kym Whitley and Finesse Williams will host week three and Sherri Shepherd will be back to wrap up the last week of January. Out of all the guest hosts, Sherri has had the highest ratings so far.

Back in February, Tiger Woods was in a horrific car crash and it was questionable that he would ever walk again, much less play golf. Well, Tiger is finally well enough to compete again! He and his 12-year-old son Charlie are signed up to play in the PNC Championship in Orlando next week. Tiger released a statement saying, “Although it’s been a long and challenging year, I am very excited to close it out by competing in the @PNCchampionship with my son Charlie. I’m playing as a Dad and couldn’t be more excited and proud.” Tiger and Charlie actually competed in this event last year and finished in seventh.

CBS announced last month that a third season of “Celebrity Big Brother” will premiere on February 2. Unlike the traditional show, “Celebrity Big Brother” is WAY shorter, like three weeks. CBS hasn’t announced any names, but some of the names being gossiped about include former Trump White House staffer Kellyanne Conway, “American Idol” runner up Clay Aiken, and lots of reality stars, including Tiffany Pollard — who was nicknamed “New York” on “Flavor of Love” back in the day, former “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna, and Kourtney’s baby daddy Scott Disick. There’s also a rumor that Todrick Hall may be joining the cast a s well. He’s a HUGE “Big Brother” fan and had several members of Season 23 stay at his home after the finale. After “Celebrity Big Brother,” TMZ says CBS is giving us “Celebrity Survivor,” which reportedly has already been filmed in Panama. Sources told TMZ that some of the celebrities involved include former Bachelor Colton Underwood, Jodie Sweetin from “Full” and then “Fuller House,” model Paulina Porizkova, Eboni K. Williams from the disastrous last season of “Real Housewives of New York,” Metta World Peace, who was actually on Season One of “Celebrity Big Brother,” and former NFL player Ray Lewis. That show should hit the air in April.

They’ve been promoting the heck out of it and it was going to air it live on “Good Morning America” this morning, but Michael Strahan’s first flight into space will have to wait. High winds in West Texas have delayed today’s launch. They’ll give it another try on Saturday. Michael and five others will be taking a 10-minute flight into space on one of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin spaceships. He’ll be joined by the oldest daughter of America’s first astronaut Alan Shepard, and four paying customers. We don’t know how many zeros were on those checks. This will be Blue Origin’s third launch with people on board.

In a new interview with “The Hollywood Reporter,” Jennifer Aniston talks about how back in the day, all six cast members of “Friends” banded together to demand huge and equal paychecks. Jennifer said the studio actually threatened, “Well, we don’t need all six of you. We can do this with four of you.” She said, “We were like, ‘You can? You can get rid of Rachel or Joey or who?’ Then it was like, “No, they can’t. Wake up.” Jennifer also said she was really naïve walking into the “Friends” reunion for HBO Max. She said when she saw the rest of the cast, she thought, “‘Hi, past, remember me? Remember how that sucked? You thought everything was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous and then you went through maybe the hardest time in your life?’…I guess you could say, so I had to walk out at certain points. I don’t know how they cut around it.”
