Jennifer Garner Slams Misleading People Magazine Cover

Live! With Kelly & Ryan ratings… Chloe Grace Moretz slammed… Rob Kardashian’s new girlfriend… Kathy Griffin was fired… and Jennifer Garner slams misleading People Magazine cover

A lot of people were curious to see the chemistry between Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest when — out of nowhere — he was announced as her new co-host on Live! But the initial curiosity seems to have waned. Ratings dropped 12 percent after Ryan’s first week, but now they’ve dropped another five percent, putting “Live! With Kelly & Ryan” in third place for its time slot. Dr. Phil rules the roost, followed by Ellen and then Kelly and Ryan.

Chloe Grace Moretz agreed to be the voice of Snow White in next year’s animated movie “Red Shoes & the 7 Dwarfs.” She did not agree to the marketing campaign, which is being slammed by everyone for body shaming overweight girls. A poster for the movie popped up at the Cannes Film Festival. It shows two women — one is tall and slim and the other is shorter and heavier. The poster reads, “What if Snow White was no longer beautiful and the 7 dwarfs not so short?” Plus-sized model Tess Holliday was one of the vocal critics, tweeting, “How did this get approved by an entire marketing team? Why is it okay to tell young kids being fat = ugly? … It’s lazy & not true/damaging to girls.” Chloe whole-heartedly agrees, saying she is “just as appalled and angry as everyone else,” but she hopes everyone will still see the movie because of its powerful message for young women. The producers have apologized for the marketing campaign and they are pulling it immediately.

Rob Kardashian was just tweeting throwback photos of Blac Chyna and captioning them with how much he loved her. But In Touch reported and Us Weekly confirmed that Rob’s actually been seeing another woman for the past three months, and his family is NOT happy about it. Rob is going out with Meghan James, a reality star who’s appeared on “Bad Girls Club” and “Basketball Wives LA.” She recently finished filming an upcoming season of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” with her ex. Why would the Kardashians have a problem with this relationship??

In America, we have the right to say whatever we want. But freedom of speech comes with a price, and Kathy Griffin is paying up. After pausing for a moment, CNN has decided the fallout from Kathy’s picture with President Trump’s severed head isn’t forgivable, and they’ve fired her from hosting their NYE special with Anderson Cooper. Sources say she’s inconsolable.

When I saw the cover of People magazine with Jennifer Garner smiling at me behind the headline, “Life After Heartbreak,” I was thinking, wow. Jennifer is so protective of her private life, yet she trusted People magazine to share the emotional details of her divorce from Ben Affleck. WRONG!! Jennifer went on Facebook to say she didn’t pose for that magazine cover and she had nothing to do with the accompanying article. She wrote, “…This isn’t a tragedy by any measure, but it does affect me and my family and so, before my mom’s garden club lights up her phone, I wanted to set the record straight: I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article. While we are here, for what it’s worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete. Have a beautiful day, Love, Jen.”
People responded with this statement: “People covers Hollywood stars beloved by our audience, and our story on Jennifer Garner is fair and truthful. To be clear, it does not include rumors and does not say she’s pregnant. We wish her well.”
