Paramount+ just dropped the first official trailer for the “iCarly” reboot. The show ended in 2012, with Carly flying off to join her father, Col. Shay, at the Air Force base in Italy. Fast forward to 2021 and Carly is back from Italy and relaunching her “iCarly” web show. Her big brother Spencer and cameraman Freddie are back, as well as Freddie’s overprotective mom. But don’t hold your breath for Sam. Jennette McCurdy has quit acting altogether. We’re still not sure if Gibby is coming back. He wasn’t featured in the trailer. But Neville was! So was that crazy Nora Dershlit who kidnapped Carly, Sam and Freddie and locked them in her basement. The new “iCarly” premieres on June 17.

Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin have been together for 10 years and have been taking about starting a family pretty much from the moment they met. Lance and Michael told “People” magazine that they’ve actively tried over the past four years, going through nine different egg donors, seven IVF treatments, and tragically last year, a surrogate pregnancy that ended in the miscarriage of twins. But now Lance and Michael are happy to report they have twins due in November! Lance and Michael said they did the egg retrieval and each fertilized half. They took the two healthiest embryos and put them in and voila! It’s a boy and a girl!

Taylor Swift has been cast in a top secret movie by director David O. Russell. We have no idea what the movie is about other that it’s a period piece. What period? No clue. When is it coming to theaters? No idea. But we do know that Taylor is joining an A-list cast that includes Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Anya Taylor-Joy, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Mike Myers and Robert DeNiro, among others.

This news causes me some concern. Matthew Perry has announced that his engagement to Molly Hurwitz is off. In a statement he said, “Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best.” Matthew announced his engagement to the 29-year-old literary agent on Thanksgiving, calling her the “greatest woman on the face of the planet.” Is the sudden breakup tied to the backlash Matthew received after appearing on the “Friends” reunion? While his reps still insist Matthew was slurring because of an emergency dental procedure, many believe he’s suffering a relapse in his sobriety.

It may not have been the original plan to announce they’re back together, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez went on a romantic dinner date to Wolfgang Puck’s new restaurant at the Pendry hotel in West Hollywood. They were snuggled up and holding hands as they walked into the restaurant, basically announcing to the world that Bennifer 2.0 is officially ON. However, a source told “Us Weekly” that Jennifer is holding off on introducing Ben to her kids, Max and Emme. They were very close to Jen’s former fiancé Alex Rodriguez. The source said Alex “really doted on them and was a model stepdad. They’ve had to adjust to this new dynamic of him not being around anymore.”
