Jennifer Lopez talks about being in abusive relationships

T.I. talks about Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj… Chris Brown’s “nuisance tax”… Suge Knight and Katt Williams arrested… Mama June and Sugar Bear back together?… and Jennifer Lopez talks about being in abusive relationships

T.I. was being interviewed for an interview series, CRWN, when he was asked about the rivalry between his protege Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj — a rivalry Nicki started when she made her speech at the BET Awards and pretty much called out Iggy (without saying her name) for not writing her own material.  T.I. said flat out, “Women can’t get alone.” But he’s optimistic these two can bury the hatchet and work together someday.

Celebrities call it a “nuisance tax.” You pay pesky people to make them and their lawsuits go away. Remember that guy who photo-bombed Chris Brown in Washington, DC, and ended up taking a punch? According to TMZ, it cost Chris about $100K to make him go away. And then there was Frank Ocean’s cousin who was suing Chris for $3 million after a brawl outside a recording studio. Reportedly, he walked away for under $20K.

Suge Knight and comedian Katt Williams have been arrested for stealing a camera from a female photographer in Beverly Hills. Katt was arrested in LA when he showed up in court for a separate assault case and Suge was picked up in Vegas. Both have been booked for robbery. Suge happens to have a prior conviction for assault with a deadly weapon and if he’s convicted on this charge, he could face up to 30 years in prison.

Mama June and Sugar Bear back together??? At least for a photo op, they were. Cameras caught the couple with their daughter, Honey Boo Boo, hanging out in Milledgeville, GA, yesterday. What’s that about? Sugar Bear has been extremely upset that June went back to convicted child molester, Mark McDaniel. But sources say he doesn’t plan on fighting June for custody because he doesn’t even have a place to call home right now.

Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming book, True Love, she talks about being in abusive relationships. She writes, “I’ve never gotten a black eye or busted lip, but I have been in relationships where I felt abused one way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally.” She adds, “I know what it feels like for your soul to be diminished by the way your loved one is treating you…. Every day that you don’t walk out that door, every day you accept things in your partner and in yourself, is a day that you’re saying it’s okay.” Jennifer doesn’t name any of her abusers names, but she does give details about her split with Marc Anthony. She writes, “Anybody looking from the outside in would have thought my life was great. I had a husband and two beautiful children. I was on ‘American Idol’ and my new single ‘On the Floor’ had gone to number one all over the world. What people didn’t know was that life really wasn’t that good. My relationship was falling apart and I was terrified.” She says she vividly remembers when she knew her marriage was over. “It was one of those moments when you’re so scared you can’t even scream. In a blur of fear and panic, I looked at (her manager Benny Medina) and my mother and blurted out the words: ‘I don’t think I can be with Marc anymore.’ Then I burst into tears.” True Love is out November 4.
