The entertainment industry is uniting for a social media rally on April 9 called “Stand Up For Ukraine.” Artists from all genres are coming together, calling for support and a solution to the humanitarian crisis in the Ukraine. As of now, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, the Jonas Brothers, Kacey Musgraves, Katy Perry, Luke Combs, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Billy Joel, Elton John, Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Shaquille O’Neal, Usher, and the recently slapped Chris Rock are just a handful of the artists taking part. It’s all powered by GlobalCitizen.org — if you want to get more info. Basically, this will be a social media rally, asking people to sign petitions, share social posts, and put pressure on our leaders to #StandUpForUkraine. They’ll also be asking for donations, too, hoping to raise billions of dollars.

Those who make fun of moms driving minivans have never driven a mini-van. But maybe now that Kim Kardashian is driving one, minivans will become cool. But Kim isn’t driving just any minivan off the lot. This is a $400K customized Maybach, featuring multi-color roof lighting, heated and cooling seats, reclining leather captain’s chairs with diamond stitching throughout, folding tables, and TV screens in all the seat partitions. Did Kim actually PAY $400K for this? Probably not. In fact, she agreed to have the whole buying process filmed for her friend RD Whittington’s reality show, “Million Dollar Wheels,” which you can see now on Discovery+. RD customizes vehicles and planes for his rich clientele. Kanye bought a custom minivan from him, too.

Over the weekend, Doja Cat got into some heated arguments with fans on Twitter and she announced she was quitting music. Doja said, “i quit i can’t wait to disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a fool for ever thinking i was made for this nightmare.” A few days later, Doja apologized for being so harsh, but she said she’s still quitting. And yesterday when she saw that an Orlando radio station shared a post about Doja’s apology and tweeted, “Ok so maybe @DojaCat isn’t retiring.” Doja replied to that, “yes the (BLANK) i am.”

Will Smith slapping Chris Rock will be a hot topic of conversation for a minute. In fact, Jim Carrey said because that video will be around forever, he would’ve sued Will for $200M. While Chris declined to press charges, there’s been a lot of speculation about what Will’s punishment SHOULD be. Members of the Academy aren’t seriously thinking about taking away Will’s Best Actor Oscar, but there is speculation that they could put him in time out. The Academy could ban Will from being nominated for any awards for the next year. That means, his movie “Emancipation” COULD be considered for nominations, but his performance could not. Of course, that’s IF the Academy decides to punish him in this way.
