Tori Spelling will hop on IG Live with you… Liam Payne’s new music video… Fans notice Jennifer Aniston spying… Post Malone files countersuit… and Joel Osteen’s Virtual Easter Service Will Feature Kanye, Mariah & Tyler Perry
Tori Spelling is getting slammed and defended for charging fans for a virtual meet and greet. On her Instagram Monday, Tori posted, “Can’t wait to do my first ever virtual meet and greet Thursday, April 9 at 5pm PDT. Only 20 spots available so reserve your spot now. Link in my bio xoxo.” But when people clicked on the link, that’s when they found out it was going to cost them $95. That’s when the poo hit the fan. She was criticized for trying to make money while people are dying. She was slammed for not donating the money she raises to charity. Some said they would’ve signed up but the $95 was way too much considering they’re out of work because of coronavirus. But Tori did have her defenders. One said Tori shouldn’t have to “stop trying to make money and take care of her family just because someone else can’t.”
The struggle is real for millions of people, but if you happen to have $95 to spare, Tori Spelling will hop on IG Live with you📱https://t.co/iueJEUFOtf— HotNewHipHop (@HotNewHipHop) April 8, 2020
While concert tours are being canceled and albums are being pushed back, some artists are still finding ways to keep moving forward. DJ Alesso and Liam Payne decided to go ahead and do a music video for their song “Midnight” while in quarantine thousands of miles apart from each other. A couple weeks ago, Alesso went to the LA studio where he originally recorded the track and Liam stood on his balcony in London and had a friend film him singing his part. (Was that friend a girlfriend? He reportedly broke up with his model girlfriend Maya Henry a couple months ago.) Besides filming this video, Liam says he’s kept himself busy during quarantine by drawing, sketching and painting.
One of my favorite songs I’ve ever made is out!!!

Jennifer Aniston got caught creeping on John Mayer’s Instagram Live. John was doing a tribute to Bill Withers, who passed away on March 30, saying, “Whether he was speaking to you or speaking to an interviewer 15 years ago, 14, 13 years ago, everything he said is useful. Four percent of the things that I say are useful. One hundred percent of the things he said were useful.” Jennifer thought that was hilarious and responded with a few laughing emojis. Of course THAT didn’t go unnoticed. It’s been a minute, but Jennifer and John dated between 2008-2009 and even though things ended amicably, she apparently destroyed him emotionally. He told Rolling Stone in 2010 that it was one of the worst times of his life.
Fans were quick to notice that Jennifer Aniston tuned in to her ex John Mayers’s IG live over the weekend, but we NEED to know what her “😂😂😂” comment was in reference to. https://t.co/OqahMGDF2l pic.twitter.com/XCAI3jvigx— E! News (@enews) April 7, 2020
Post Malone has filed a countersuit against now former friend Tyler Armes, who claims he co-wrote Posty’s hit song “Circles” and wants a writing credit. But Post says that’s not true. While he admits Tyler was in the room ONE DAY while Post and four others worked on “Circles,” that was it. Tyler didn’t contribute anything the day he was there and he wasn’t even present for the following sessions the true writers of the song had.

If you plan on attending a virtual Easter service this Sunday, you may want to check out Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston. Mariah Carey, Tyler Perry and Kanye West will be taking part in the service virtually. Mariah will sing her song “Hero” as a tribute to all the healthcare workers and first responders. Kanye will be performing with his choir. Odd are, they’re not quarantined together so we’ll have to see how they figure that out.
