Coming to your small screen….Many fans who were obsessed with “Dexter” for 8 seasons say the whole thing was RUINED by its awful series finale in 2013. Yesterday, Showtime announced they are bringing the show back next fall for just one 10-episode season, and yes, Michael C. Hall is back as Dexter. Hopefully, fans will get the closure they need. Meantime, Amazon has ordered a series based on the 1997 horror movie “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” This would be a modern take on the movie where “in a town full of secrets, a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.” And NBC is working on a drama series based on “Fried Green Tomatoes” starring Reba McEntire!

Remember when John Cena was so upset that Nikki Bella called off their wedding that he cried about it on the “Today” show??? That stunt didn’t win her back. Nikki wanted a baby. John didn’t. And even though he started to cave on the issue, Nikki wanted a man who was ALL IN on making babies. She stayed strong, fell in love with her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Artem Chigvintsev, and now they are loving on their baby boy Matteo! As far as John’s broken heart, it’s mended just fine. About a year and a half ago, he started dating Shay Shariatzadeh, an engineer from Vancouver. And surprise! The two of them got married in Tampa on Monday!

Holocaust survivor Judith Dim Evans passed away over the summer. Her estate has now filed a lawsuit to have her scene removed from the upcoming “Borat” sequel, which will be released on Amazon Prime next Friday. The lawsuit claims Ms. Evans was approached to talk about the Holocaust for what she thought was a documentary. She recorded her interview inside a Georgia synagogue in January. The lawsuit states, “Upon learning after giving the interview that the movie was actually a comedy intended to mock the Holocaust and Jewish culture, Ms. Evans was horrified and upset. Had Ms. Evans been informed about the true nature of the film and purpose for the interview, she would not have agreed to participate in the interview.” The attorney representing the estate told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he hasn’t seen the movie, but knows Ms. Evans will be included in the final cut. The lawsuit is asking for the scene to be cut, as well as damages of less than $75K for false light invasion of privacy, appropriation of Ms. Evans’ likeness for commercial gain, and fraud. By the way, the movie’s title has been changed from “Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan” to “Borat Subsequent Movie Film: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.”

In her new book Finding Your Harmony: Dream Big, Have Faith, and Achieve More Than You Can Imagine, Ally Brooke reveals that when Camila Cabello left Fifth Harmony, the remaining four started tossing around the names of singers who could replace her. Ally wrote, “I don’t know if I can share, but one would’ve been really cool. She’s at the top now, and everybody loves her. I love her. That wasn’t what we felt like would be right for our group, even though we love this other singer, and she’s awesome. She probably wouldn’t have accepted anyways because she probably would’ve said the same thing, like, ‘I don’t know if I should step in here.’ And her career is already blowing up.” Obviously, they decided to stick with just the four of them, but Ana and I have decided Ally’s talking about Dua Lipa.

Post Malone was the big winner of the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, taking home nine, including Top Artist and Top Male Artist. And nine months after she won the Grammy for Album of the Year, Billie Eilish won Top 200 Billboard Album, along with Top New Artist and Top Female Artist. For a complete list of winners, check out Billboard.com. But the biggest moment of the night had to be John Legend dedicating his song “Never Break” to his wife Chrissy Teigen. This was John’s first public performance since he and Chrissy lost their son, Jack, who was delivered prematurely.
