John Mayer Admits Katy Perry Inspired His New Song

Lollapalooza lineup is HUGE… Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus have found their way to each other… Kris Jenner pitched a cartoon… George Clooney is being investigated… and John Mayer admits Katy Perry inspired his new song

Lollapalooza is Aug. 3-6 in Grant Park, Chicago. As always, the lineup is huge, with more than 170 bands performing over four days. Chance the Rapper, the Killers, Muse, Arcade Fire, Lorde, Blink-182, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty and Ryan Adams are some of the bigger names performing. The four day passes are GONE, but limited one day passes are still available at Lollapalooza.com. And another music festival that’s still in its baby stages is Kaaboo. This is their third year and it’s happening Sept. 15-17 in Del Mar, California, which is close to San Diego. They’ve got a bunch of artists performing including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jason Derulo, Andy Grammer, Kesha, Pink, Muse, David Guetta and Weezer. Get the whole lineup and look for tickets at KaabooDelMar.com.

Diane Kruger dated Joshua Jackson for a decade before they finally realized it wasn’t meant to be. They ended things last summer. And Norman Reedus was in a five-year relationship with supermodel Helena Christensen and even had a son together. But they broke up way back in 2003 so he’s way over it. But now, Diane and Norman have found their way to each other and E! News has pictures of them on a romantic walk through NYC, holding hands and stopping for kisses along the way. They actually worked together a couple years ago in “Sky,” but Diane was still with Joshua at the time. In the movie, their characters hook up and Diane leaves her husband for him. A couple months ago, Diane was there to support Norman at is photography exhibition in Paris, but people assumed they were just friends. And maybe they were at the time. But last month, they were seen returning from a trip together and that’s when people started thinking they might be dating. Now we know they are.

Kris Jenner had a pitch meeting with Harvey Weinstein’s company. How does a cartoon version of the Kardashians sound to you? Kris thinks it’s a fabulous idea. However, this wouldn’t be kid-friendly Saturday morning fare. This would be more suitable for adult audiences and would air after the young ones are all tucked safely into bed. No news on how the pitch meeting went.

According to the National Enquirer, George Clooney is being investigated by the FBI for money laundering! According to their source, George threw a dinner party to celebrate the success of his Casamigos tequila line. To spread the wealth, he reportedly gifted each of his dinner guests with a designer bag filled with a million dollars cash! Apparently, the government doesn’t think that’s okay so he’s supposedly being investigated.

John Mayer has new music out and he’s just going to go ahead and nip this in the bud. Yes. “Still Feel Like Your Man” is about his ex-girlfriend, Katy Perry. There. He told the New York Times, “It’s a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it’s like, give me this, people.” John and Katy dated on and off from 2012 to 2015. She went on to date and break up with Orlando Bloom, but John says while he hasn’t dated much, he is on an “exclusive dating app.” And since he’s all about facing this stuff head on, John says he also realizes that the video for “Still Feel Like Your Man” will be criticized for cultural appropriation. For those not hip to this hot button issue, cultural appropriation is when somebody from one culture adopts or uses elements from another culture. John’s video features a “disco dojo” with a woman in a geisha outfit and two people in giant panda suits. But John says they were as sensitive as they could be and that nobody who is white or non-Asian is playing an Asian person. But he said, “Do I think that someone is going to tweet that this is cultural appropriation? Yes… It’s going to be interesting to see.”
