BTS wants you to know that it’s not too late to start working on your summer bod. Did you know that BTS has a series of free workout videos on YouTube? They’re releasing one new “Workout With BTS” video every Monday for five Mondays. The third one dropped yesterday. So far they’ve focused on the lower body, the upper body and yesterday’s was all about the core. Unfortunately, BTS isn’t demonstrating the exercises because that would be too fabulous for us to handle. The exercises are led by a female instructor with an English voiceover. But there are clips of BTS throughout the video, showing them having fun and talking about the importance of staying fit and healthy.

Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson hosted NBC’s New Year’s Eve special live from Miami last year. It was the highest ratings NBC has seen for that night since 2014, so it should come as no surprise that NBC has snagged Miley to come back and ring in 2023. No word yet on where Miley will host or if Pete is coming back.

Sports Illustrated has announced they will have four different cover models for their upcoming swimsuit issue. Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Elon Musk’s mother Maye, and Yumi Nu, a model and singer who happens to be SI’s first plus-sized Asian cover model.

Jerry Bruckheimer — who produces “The Pirates of the Caribbean” movies — was asked if Johnny Depp will ever return to the role of Jack Sparrow. Jerry said, “Not at this point. The future is yet to be decided.” By that, he probably means the outcome of Johnny’s defamation trial against Amber Heard and the public reaction to Johnny now that all the ugly has been laid bare. But Jerry said they’re not done with the Pirates movies. In fact, he said they’re developing two scripts — one with Margot Robbie and one without. He said, “I still get the same list of ten men the studios want in a movie. You still get Tom (Cruise), Leonardo (DiCaprio)….Get one of these big names and you’ve got a good shot at getting a movie made.”

Amber Heard told her version of things and then finally faced Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez for cross examination. Right out of the gate, Ms. Vasquez asked Amber about Johnny never making eye contact with her, which has been very obvious to people who’ve been watching the trial. Ms. Vasquez reminded Amber that back in 2016, Johnny vowed he would never look her in the eyes again. Amber couldn’t recall that conversation, so Ms. Vasquez rolled the tape. It was actually recorded in a San Francisco hotel room after Amber had filed for divorce and after she had obtained a restraining order. But as we learned, Amber begged to see Johnny and — even though she was allegedly so terrified she needed an order of protection — she then begged him to hug her and say goodbye. That’s when Johnny told her, “I am nothing to you and I will always be nothing to you. You will not see my eyes again.” Then Ms. Vasquez went through several of the specific incidents of violent abuse Amber claims she suffered at Johnny’s ring-covered hands, showing photos from the day of or day after the alleged abuse took place and Amber looked stunning. Not a mark on her. Amber credited ice to keep down the swelling, even though she testified she doesn’t swell much anyway, and makeup to cover the bruises. Ms. Vasquez also hammered Amber about the $7M she pledged to donate to the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of LA, which Amber has yet to donate even though she has said repeated in interviews that she already wrote the checks. However, Amber said pledging and donating to her are the exact same thing, and she fully intends to get around to it once Johnny stops suing her. She’s back on the stand for more cross-examination today.
