It’ll take a minute for our ears to get used to the sound of that, but NBC announced that Jenna Bush Hager is replacing Kathie Lee Gifford on the fourth hour of the Today show starting in April. It’s all good! Kathie Lee wanted to retire over a year ago, but with the Matt Lauer scandal, she told producers that she’d stay on until things calmed down. Jenna has filled in for Kathie Lee umpteen times so the chemistry between her and Hoda has passed that test. Of course there are some people trying to find the dirt in this story. RadarOnline.com is reporting that Jenna was “livid” that it took NBC so long to name her as the replacement because she should’ve been the obvious choice right out of the gate.

Britney Spears canceled her MGM residency in Vegas so she could spend more time with her father, who’s been suffering serious health problems. Yesterday it was announced that Janet Jackson is filling Britney’s void. “Metamorphosis” launches on May 17 with 15 shows scattered through May, July and August. According to the press release, the show “peels back the layers of the immensely private life of Janet Jackson, sharing her transformation from a young girl with issues of self-esteem to global icon.” Tickets are on sale today for members of Janet’s fan club and Citi card holders. Everybody else gets a shot at them on Saturday.

And people who keep up with these things say that Irina unfollowed Lady Gaga before the Oscars on Sunday. A source told The Sun, “The stories about Irina being sick of Gaga have some truth to them. It’s not that she dislikes Gaga or is jealous of her, but she’s sick of the constant stories about her close relationship to Bradley.” The source says Irina was actually thrilled about the success of “A Star Is Born” and she was thrilled to go to the Oscars. BUT! It’s been a long publicity campaign and she’s ready for it to be OVER. There have been rumors that Brad and Irina’s relationship is going through a rough patch.

Jordyn Woods sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith for her Red Table Talk show on Facebook. We have to wait until Friday to see it. Jordyn’s late father worked as a television sound engineer and she’s known the Smith family for years. In fact, Jada’s son Jaden introduced Jordyn to Kylie Jenner. A source told TMZ that Jada wanted to give Jordyn a platform to tell her story with the whole Tristan Thompson cheating scandal and hopefully “create a healing between Jordyn and Khloe.” Depending on what Jordyn said, she could be facing a million dollar fine. She signed an NDA with the Kardashians that forbids her from talking about the family publicly or revealing any private details about them. People says Jordyn actually consulted with an attorney to find loopholes in the NDA, so we’ll see how far she dared to go on Friday. But Jordyn may end up being to pay a huge fine just fine because the job offers have been pouring in since the scandal broke. She’s reportedly been offered her own TV show, beauty line and a number of other endorsement deals.
