Juice Wrld Allegedly Consumed Pills Before His Death

Golden Globe nominations… Disney allegedly shortchanged Bill Nye… Lizzo twerked in a thong… Chrissy Teigen’s Q&A… and Juice Wrld allegedly consumed pills before his death

The Golden Globes nominations were announced yesterday and there are a lot of celebrities looking around asking, “What the hell???” Among the bigger snubs — according to entertainment publications — were “Game of Thrones” and “Veep.” Both show had their final seasons and that’s the time you reward them for years of entertainment. But GOT only picked up one nomination for Kit Harington, who’s up for Best Actor in a TV Drama. And Julia Louis-Dreyfus battled back from breast cancer to complete the final season of “Veep” and she got NADA. And while “When They See Us” is Netflix’s most-watched series ever, the people at the Golden Globes obviously didn’t see it because it got overlooked for Best Limited Series. And The Golden Globes also snubbed HBO’s “Watchmen,” which many people consider to be the best TV show of the year. As far as the movies, they gave no love to “Cats,” but “Joker” got four nominations, including Best Original Score, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Drama. The 2020 Golden Globe Awards air Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Bill Nye the Science Guy is suing Disney for $28M. He says they had an agreement that Bill would bet 16.5% of the net profits from sales and distributions from this TV show. But in 2008, Disney sent him a check for around $600K and then asked for almost $500K back due to an “accounting error.” Bill smelled something fishy, so he requested an audit and found out that he was actually owed $9M!!! Heck yeah, he’s suing!

When Lizzo showed up to sit court-side at the Lakers vs. Timberwolves game Sunday night, she wore a dress that left her entire backside exposed. Hey! At least she was wearing a thong! People have feelings about this dress, ranging from the inappropriateness of wearing something like that to an event where children would see all that to concern for Lizzo’s hygiene as she sat on the stadium seat. But Lizzo doesn’t really care what we think. She only cares what one NBA player thinks. Lizzo told a reporter, “Both teams are great. I’m personally cheering for No. 32. That’s my baby!” And that would be Karl-Anthony Towns.

Chrissy Teigen told her Twitter followers they could ask her anything about being a celebrity and here are some of the highlights. The best perk of being a celebrity? Chrissy said, “No one gives my kids nasty looks on the plane. if anything, they’re creepily nice and it is crazy unfair because they are just as annoying as other kids on a plane.” How many expensive designer dresses does she own? Chrissy tweeted, “I have worn a lot of expensive things but always have to give them back. Since the babies, I’m not sample size anymore so I buy almost everything I wear and then resell…and donate the $ to charity.” Chrissy admits that she uses her celebrity to get a table at restaurants. She said, “I make reservations and don’t give them the option to say no. ‘Hi it’s Chrissy Teigen and id like to make a reservation for 2 for John legend, do you have any availability?’ if you just say ‘hi can I make a reservation for 2?’ they say no. gotta say it all at once.” Chrissy also admits to having four nannies who rotate and the normal thing she misses most is going to the grocery store.

TMZ has learned a lot about what led up to Juice WRLD’s death. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the pilot flying his private plane alerted authorities that there were guns and drugs on the plane, so agents from the FBI and FAA were waiting on the ground when the plane landed. Apparently in an attempt to hide them, Juice was seen swallowing a handful of Percocets, which may have led to his seizure. TMZ says paramedics used Narcan to revive Juice, but he was still incoherent. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. After searching the plane, authorities reportedly found 70 lbs. of marijuana in vacuum-sealed bags, six bottles of prescription codeine cough syrup, three guns — which were registered — a high-capacity ammunition magazine, and metal-piercing bullets. Two of Juice’s security guards were arrested for the guns, but later released.
