Jussie Smollet Is Under Arrest

“The Masked Singer” SPOILER ALERT… Chris Hemsworth’s new movie… Meghan Markle’s baby shower… Khloe Kardashian drama… and Jussie Smollet is under arrest

SPOILER ALERT: There was a double-unmasking on “The Masked Singer” last night. I called the Rabbit! It was Joey Fatone. The Lion turned out to be Rumer Willis. And now there are three mystery singers moving on to the finals — the Bee, the Peacock, and the Monster.

In pretty random but also brilliant casting news, Chris Hemsworth is going to play Hulk Hogan in a new biopic for Netflix. We’re going to find out how a the son of a construction foreman and dance teacher from Augusta, Georgia, grew up to become one of the most famous wrestlers of all time. They’ve nailed down Todd Phillips to direct. He directed big hits like “Old School” and “The Hangover” movies. He’s also directing Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker movie.

Serena Williams hosted Meghan Markle’s baby shower yesterday in the two-story penthouse suite of the Mark Hotel, which normally rents for over $75K a night! It’s a massive space with vaulted ceilings, four bedrooms and a great big terrace overlooking Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There were tons of flowers delivered for the shower, along with a cotton candy machine, a baby crib that was used to hold all the baby gifts, and a harpist! Celebrity guests included Gayle King, Amal Clooney, Meghan’s “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer, stylist Jessica Mulroney, and designer Misha Nonoo. And the men who did Meghan’s Royal Wedding hair and makeup, Serge Normant and Daniel Martin, were also there. Instead of a cheesy baby shower game, they arranged flowers. And we think the guests all received personalized carry-on suitcases by Away for their parting gifts, because more than a dozen of those were delivered before the shower yesterday morning.

Just hours before she hooked up with Khloe Kardashian’s man, Jordyn Woods was hanging out with her best friend, Kylie Jenner making SnapChat videos. Little did she know she was about to mess up EVERYTHING. Jordyn is moving out of Kylie’s house and back in with her mother. Kim Kardashian has unfollower her and Tristan Thompson on Instagram. As of this post, Kendall Jenner has unfollowed Tristan, but that’s the extent of people unfollowing each other. Khloe hasn’t commented publicly, but she did like a tweet somebody posted, telling Khloe that none of this was her fault and that Tristan is “sick” and Jordyn is “terrible.” She also made her first public appearance since the scandal broke, showing up for the grand opening of PrettyLittleThing’s new LA office with her best friend Malika Haqq.

Jussie Smollet is under arrest, charged with disorderly conduct in falsifying a police report, which is a Class 4 felony punishable by up to 3 years in prison. Jussie turned himself in at 5am. His bond hearing is scheduled for 1:30pm. Jussie maintains he didn’t stage a fake hate crime attack, but the Nigerian brothers who claim Jussie hired him to do it have confessed everything. In fact, CBS reporter Charlie De Mar was able to find the video of the brothers buying gloves and ski masks at a Chicago beauty store. They reportedly bought the rope from a nearby hardware store a few days before that. TMZ is reporting that the FBI questioned the brothers about that threatening letter Jussie received on the set of “Empire.” They said they had nothing to do with that, but they saw a picture of it on Jussie’s phone.
