Who doesn’t love movie popcorn? I have literally seen people come to the theater lobby, order great big buckets of movie popcorn and leave. AMC Theatres is the world’s largest movie theater chain, and their CEO says they currently pop 50 tons of popcorn every day. But that’s about to change EXPONENTIALLY. Yesterday, AMC Theatres announced they will start selling “AMC Perfectly Popcorn” at kiosks, counters and stores in malls across the country. They’ll start with five locations in the first half of 2022, and the plan is to have 15 up and running by the end of the year. They’ll add even more locations in 2023. These will only be in malls that don’t already have and AMC Theatre. But it’s not just popcorn. This will basically be a concession stand with the usual stuff you see at theaters, and the popcorn will be made fresh on site. And they’re not stopping there! AMC also plans to make their popcorn available through food delivery services, and later next year, look for AMC’s microwaveable popcorn in your grocery stores.

“The Masked Singer” was created in South Korea and has become a surprising hit here in America. In fact, hoping lightning would strike twice, they spun it off into “The Masked Dancer.” As of now, Fox hasn’t decided if they’re bringing it back for a second season or not. But the creator of the original South Korean version of the show is working on yet another spinoff, and Fox says we don’t care what it is, we’ll take it! And it looks like what they’ve come up with is a show called “Lotto Singer,” where viewers can win cash prizes by betting on contestants’ performances.

There’s been a major delay in vinyl production lately, and it turns out….it’s all Adele’s fault! Well, it’s not ALL her fault. Vinyls albums have seen a huge resurgence over the last few years. Knowing that, six months ago, Adele reportedly ordered over 500K vinyl copies of her new album “30,” which drops two weeks from today, by the way. But the pandemic has impacted supplies of pretty much everything, including vinyl! Vinyl factories can’t keep up. Ed Sheeran even talked about it recently, saying, “There’s like 3 vinyl factories in the world and Adele had basically booked out all the vinyl factories, so we had to get a slot and get our album in there. It was like me, Coldplay, Adele, Taylor, ABBA, Elton….all of us were trying to get our vinyls printed at the same time.”
In a new Variety article, Sony Music sources said that more than 500,000 vinyl copies of “30” have already been manufactured in the months leading up to the album’s Nov 19 release.

Let the Lindsay Lohan comeback begin! Earlier this year, Lindsay announced she’d be starring in a new Netflix holiday rom-com, and she wasn’t lying! We don’t know the name of it or when it will be released, but we do know this….Netflix is totally ripping off the Hallmark Christmas Movie formula. Lindsay will play a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident that leaves her with total amnesia. While she’s recovering — right before Christmas, of course — she finds herself being cared for by the handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter. And who’s playing that handsome lodge owner who will win Lindsay’s heart, causing her to end her engagement and move to this wintery ski resort to get married and become a stepmom? Chord Overstreet! And this isn’t the first time Lindsay and Chord worked together. She guest starred on “Glee” back in 2012.

It turns out Kanye West wasn’t as thrilled with Kim Kardashian’s SNL performance as we were led to believe. In an interview that was taped shortly after Kim’s gig but apparently before her whatever it is she’s doing with Pete Davidson, Kanye told Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs,” “‘SNL’ making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off. I never even seen the papers. We’re not even divorced…They ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together.” Kanye blames the media and the team around Kim for “promoting” the idea of divorcing him and “getting into her ear” with ideas of new TV shows. Now we’re just waiting to hear how Kanye feels about Kim running around with Pete!
