Kanye West Begs Mark Zuckerberg for Help After Revealing Debt

Weekend box office news… Mark Zuckerberg hired 16 bodyguards… Celebs spent Valentine’s Day at Clive Davis’ party… Lady Gaga reveals David Bowie tattoo… and Kanye West begs Mark Zuckerberg for help after revealing debt

“Deadpool” broke some box office records over the weekend, earning over $135 million. It’s expected to hit the $150 million mark when they add in the ticket sales from today. This is more than double what industry experts expected the movie to make, and almost triple what the movie cost to make, which was $58 million. So yay for Ryan Reynolds finally having a hit movie! As far as the rest of the movies, “Kung Fu Panda 3” ended the weekend with $19.7 million and a second place finish. “How To Be Single” debuted in third with $18.8 million. And “Zoolander 2” is a certified stinker, opening in fourth with $15.7 million. “Hail! Caesar” rounded out the top five with $6.6 million.

Being a billionaire sounds great, but it comes with its own set of problems. Sources told “Page Six” that Mark Zuckerberg has 16 bodyguards working at his home and that other young tech billionaires are beefing up their security, as well. This Silicon Valley source says all the CEOs get threats and they take them very seriously. This source says Facebook, for instance, has more than a billion “daily active users on average.” It’s also a leading reason for romantic breakups and divorces, which can result in some angry users who would unfairly blame Mark Zuckerberg.

Clive Davis held his 40th annual pre-Grammys party at the Beverly Hilton last night. Among those in attendance were Harry Styles and Zayn Malik — hopefully Harry will give Zayn his new number — and a very lovey-dovey Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani — she spent much of the night snuggled up on Blake’s lap. There were a ton of performances. There were a couple of tributes to David Bowie and Dave Grohl also paid tribute to Kurt Cobain. Melissa Ethridge honored Glenn Frey with a performance of “Take It to the Limit.” Clive got Carly Simon to fly out in case Barry Manilow couldn’t make it after a recent dental emergency. Barry showed, but Carly performed “You’re So Vain” so her trip wasn’t in vain. Clive also asked Fetty Wap to do a quick version of “Trap Queen” and then introduced three new artists that he is especially fond of right now — Andra Day, Tori Kelly and Elle King — and got them to perform one song each. Chicago also performed as did Earth, Wind & Fire, who played a medley of hits and dedicated their performance to Maurice White, who recently passed away.

Lady Gaga is performing a tribute to the late David Bowie at the Grammys tonight and she’s taking it very seriously. She got a huge tattoo of Ziggy Stardust on the left side of her body Saturday. Gaga told The Hollywood Reporter, “When I fell in love with David Bowie, when I was living on the Lower East Side, I always felt that his glamour was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls. He is a true, true artist and I don’t know if I ever went, ‘Oh, I’m going to be that way like this,’ or if I arrived upon it slowly, realizing it was my calling and that’s what drew me to him.”

Kanye West is in trouble — according to him, financially. According to somebody close to him, mentally. He went on another Twitter tirade over the weekend. Before he took the stage on SNL, Kanye tweeted that he’s “53 million dollars in personal debt” and then said he was being called to the set. The next day, he started begging Mark Zuckerberg to “invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas.” And he asked all his fans to help him get in touch with Mark. Finally, he tweeted, “Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw…” When Mark didn’t, Kanye turned to the co-founder of Google. “Hey Larry Page I’m down for your help too. All you dudes in San Fran play rap music in your homes but never help the real artists. You’d rather open up one school in Africa like you really helped the country…if you want to help… help me…” Before this most recent tirade, Kanye’s former writing partner Rhymefest tweeted, “My brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal.”
