“Saturday Night Live” is back Oct. 3, giving them a good month to poke fun at the upcoming presidential election. Even though Alec Baldwin keeps saying he’s done playing President Trump, he will be playing him again in Season 46. Maya Rudolph is also back as Kamala Harris. But Jason Sudeikis is out as Joe Biden and Jim Carrey is in! According to bossman Lorne Michaels, Jim reached out to him about taking on the role and after talking things over with Colin Jost, the part was his. So basically, Jim is taking the food right out of Jason’s mouth. While a lot of SNL fans are excited to see Jim’s wacky take on Biden, Jason’s stans are sticking up for him on Twitter.
Joaquin Phoenix’s “Joker” was a massive hit. Not only did Joaquin win the Oscar for Best Actor, the movie earned over $1B at the box office, making it the most successful R-rated film of all time. Now sources are telling the British tabloid “Mirror” that Joaquin has been offered $50M to come back as Joker in two sequels. According to the source, the deal is still being negotiated, but the scripts are already being written and Joaquin is very involved.
If you missed last night’s 55th ACM Awards, there was a big surprise at the end. For the first time in the show’s history, there was a tie for night’s biggest award — Entertainer of the Year. Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett share the honor. This is Thomas’ first time winning and Carrie’s third, but it’s her first time having to share it. Rhett also won Video of the Year for “Remember You Young.” Luke Combs won Male Artist and Album of the Year, while Maren Morris took Female Artist. Friends of the show Old Dominion won Group of the Year for the third year in a row, as well as Song of the Year for “One Man Band.” It was the second straight win for Dan + Shay for Duo of the Year. And with Miranda Lamber’s win for Music Event of the Year, she now has 35 ACMs, which is more than any other artist in history.

She amended her petition on Wednesday and is now asking for joint physical custody. A source told Page Six that despite rumors that Offset is expecting a baby with another woman, it’s not true. The source said, “There is no other child. No baby is on the way. That rumor is super false.”

Former NBA player Rick Fox apparently has become Kanye West’s official spokesman. Rick tweeted yesterday that Kanye had been suspended from tweeting for 12 hours. Basically, Twitter put him in time out. Kanye has been on a tirade about being a slave to record labels and is being denied the right to buy back his masters. He also posted over 100 pages of his 10 contracts with Universal, asking “every lawyer in the world to look at these.” Kanye was so upset, he even put one of his Grammys in the toilet and peed on it. But that’s not what got him suspended. He didn’t cross the line until he posted the contact info for “Forbes” editor Randall Lane, whom Kanye called a white supremacist.
In the past hour, Kanye West has:
1.) Leaked the personal phone number of the Chief Content Officer of Forbes.
2.) Posted a video of himself urinating on his Grammy in a toilet.
3.) Posted every single page of his UMG contract, breaching NDAs.— HIP HOP FACTS (@DailyRapFacts) September 16, 2020
