In movie news, the trailer for “Thor: Love and Thunder”dropped this week. In its first 24 hours, the trailer was viewed more than 209M times, but not enough to break the record. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” still holds onto that, with 355.5M views in its first 24. Also, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up to write another movie together. This one is set in the mid 80s, and it’s based on the true story of Nike salesman Sonny Vaccaro trying any and everything he can to land a partnership with Michael Jordan. No one will play Michael because he will never even be seen in the movie. And finally, Jason Momoa is reportedly in final negotiations for a role in an upcoming live-action Minecraft movie.

CBS has a new musical game show in the works called “Superfan.” The show will feature a superfan who will have to prove that they are, in fact, an artist’s biggest fan. So far, the show has lined up Gloria Estefan, LL Cool J, Pitbull, Little Big Town, and Shania Twain. During each one hour episode, there will be several rounds of play until the artist selects their one superfan who will then receive the ultimate once in a lifetime grand prize of……we don’t know. They just don’t say what that is. The show is currently in production, and we don’t know when it will be ready for air.

According to a British tabloid called “Heat,” the Oscars slap may be the final straw for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s marriage. Their source said, “Ever since the Oscars scandal, tensions between them have been palpable. There have been problems for years, but they’re barely speaking right now.” The source said Will doesn’t want to divorce, but “there’s only so much he can take.” Yesterday, the trailer for the new season of “Red Table Talk” dropped and there’s no mention of Will making an appearance. There were rumors that Will will not talk about the slap unless it is on “Red Table Talk,” but we’ll have to wait and see.

Remember a couple years ago when Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s son Mason got on Instagram and went live and when he was asked if Kylie and Travis Scott were back together he said no and when his mom found out she put him in timeout, took his phone and pulled his social media? Yeah. Well, now it looks like Mason may be back up to his old tricks with a “finsta” account. At least, that’s what some Kardashian fans think. If it is, in fact, Mason, he posted a picture of a baby — which fans believed was a random baby photo pulled from Google — along with the name “Knight Jacques Webster.” The account has already been pulled, which could mean that Mason’s mama caught him again OR this isn’t even Mason. BUT! Did we maybe…POSSIBLY…just learn the new name of Kylie and Travis’ baby boy?

Blac Chyna’s trial against the Kardashians got underway yesterday with opening statements from both sides. Page Six was there to get all the juicy details. Chyna’s attorney claims that Kim, Khloe, Kylie and Kris conspired to cancel the reality series “Rob & Chyna” after only one season, which cost her millions. She’s suing for more than $40M in loss of earnings and more than $60M in loss of future earnings. Her attorney argued, “Chyna wanted to bring the ‘real’ back into reality TV and a real relationship has its ups and downs.” She said things came to a head on December 14, 2016. Rob and Chyna were living at Kylie’s house at the time and they’d just gotten news “Rob & Chyna” had been picked up for a second season. What started out as a celebration turned ugly when Rob went through Chyna’s phone and accused her of cheating. The next day, according to Chyna’s attorney, Kris called E! network executives and claimed that Chyna “beat the s*** out of Rob’s face and asked to take her off the show.” The lawyer said Chyna did admit to damaging a TV, two gingerbread houses and a door, but her attorney claims she did NOT attack Rob’s face and to prove it, she will present unaired footage from the series showing Rob with no bruises or injuries to his face. In his opening statements, the Kardashian-Jenners’ attorney said that’s not at all what happened. He said Chyna became violent with Rob, allegedly pulled a gun on him and wrapped an iPhone cord around his neck. He said it got so bad, Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble came over to the house to break things up, and he will later testify to that. Whatever did – or didn’t – go down that night, Chyna’s attorney said after Chyna left the house, the Kardashians-Jenners began their plan to sabotage “Rob & Chyna.” But their attorney said the network alone decided to cancel the series because Rob and Chyna’s relationship became too toxic and they didn’t want to put that stuff on the air. But yes, he admitted, the family also wanted to protect Rob from future abuse.
