Mike Bloomberg pays hundreds… “Skull Breaker Challenge”… Amanda Bynes says sorry… Prince Harry & Meghan Markle eyeing £5.4 million Malibu mansion… and Katy Perry falls to the ground after gas leak

Even if you aren’t a fan, are you willing to post nice things about Michael Bloomberg if you get $2500 to do it? Newsweek says the Bloomberg team is looking to hire 500 “deputy digital organizers” willing to work up to 30 hours a week promoting the presidential candidate to their friends and family with texts and social media posts. Right now, they’re only looking for recruits in California, but the search could go national as we inch closer to the primary.

Doctors are warning kids not to try the new TikTok “Skull Breaker Challenge” because IT COULD KILL YOU. A couple of TikTokers in Spain started this nonsense. These two guys are standing on each side of a third guy who has no idea what’s about to happen. He thinks they’re all being filmed just jumping up, but the two guys kick his feet out from under him and he lands on his back and hits his head. THIS COULD HAVE KILLED HIM. So far, a couple of children in the US have landed in the hospital from trying this stunt. And this is just one of the many reasons TikTok is implementing new safety features that include parental controls.

Amanda Bynes posted an Instagram video yesterday, introducing us to her new fiancé Paul Michael and apologizing for her past behavior. She said, “I just wanted to post a video to say I’m sorry to everyone who I called ugly on Twitter. I was feeling so ugly at the time and it was really hard for me to express myself at the time because I was so drugged out and now I’ve remained sober for over a year. Same with Paul.” Speaking of Paul, Amanda’s mom is her conservator and has final say over whether Amanda can get married. TMZ says mama does not approve.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have checked out a $7M mansion in Malibu that once belonged to David Charvet and Brooke Burke, and is just around the corner from other celebrities like Mel Gibson, Robert Downey Jr. and Caitlyn Jenner. It’s not only a quick 30-mile drive to Meghan’s mom’s house, it’s also close to Hollywood, where Harry and Meghan will most likely be doing lots of business deals.

On the preview of this Sunday’s “American Idol,” things look pretty scary there for a minute for Katy Perry. Back in November, the show was taping at a venue in Sunriver, Oregon, when Katy noticed the smell of propane. She complained to others, who eventually smelled it, too, and they all evacuated the building. Just as EMTs began to arrive, Katy complained of a headache and said, “I’m not feeling good,” before dropping to the ground. Did she seriously pass out? Or was she feigning a fainting spell hoping to get a little mouth-to-mouth resuscitation from a hot emergency responder? We’ll have to wait until Sunday to see how it all plays out.
