Will there be a “Sharknado 4”?… Kandi Burress is expecting… Nick Cannon is in the hospital… Calvin Harris plans on Taylor Swift meeting the parents… and Katy Perry joins Taylor Swift-Nicki Minaj Twitter feud
I guess the big question now is, will there be a “Sharknado 4”? In case you missed it, recaps of last night’s “Sharknado 3: Oh Hello No!” are all over the internets. Some of the most fun came from seeing all the celebrity cameos, and I’ll just use E!’s list of the best celebrity cameos, except I’ll leave out how they all died in case you DVR’d it and want to be surprised.

After a successful round of IVF, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burress and her husband Todd Tucker are expecting their first child together. Both of them have daughters from previous relationships, and Todd told E! that Kaela and Riley couldn’t be happier about becoming big sisters.
Burning the candle at both ends must’ve caught up to Nick Cannon. He posted a photo of himself from his hospital bed on IG, captioning it, “Dont worry, Temporary pit stop… Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can’t run on fumes. On the low though, I really think I’m a super hero… Now I’m not saying I’m Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood.” We don’t know what landed him in the hospital this go round, but back in 2012, Nick was hospitalized for what he called “mild kidney failure.”
A source told “Us Weekly” that Calvin Harris is so smitten with Taylor Swift that he’s planning on taking her to Scotland to meet his parents. Taylor’s parents already had the pleasure of meeting Calvin and the source says they love him. So! Is this meeting-the-parents thing moving them one step closer to taking a trip down the aisle?? Calvin was on a British radio show recently and said Taylor ticks boxes he didn’t even know existed. And a source told “Us” that he wants to hold on to her for as long as he can.
Katy Perry decided this was too juicy to pass up, so she jumped right in the middle of this Nicki Minaj/Taylor Swift Twitter feud! So after Nicki griped that MTV didn’t nominate “Anaconda” for Video of the Year because her video wasn’t full of slim-bodied girls, Taylor took it personally and tweeted Nicki that it was unlike her to pit women against each other, which Nicki took offense to, of course. Well, just like Nicki, without naming names, Katy basically called out Taylor Swift on Twitter yesterday. She posted, “Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman…” Obviously, Katy’s referring to Taylor’s song “Bad Blood” which is written about her. But there are a lot of people who have Taylor’s back, including Ed Sheeran. Backstage at his concert in Dublin last night, he told “The Daily Telegraph,” “I think everyone knows that Taylor has done nothing wrong in that situation. She didn’t nominate herself for the awards. It’s not her fault. She just made some good videos and people think they’re good.” He went on to say, “I think the Minaj point is a bit redundant, her point is that you have to be skinny and white to get a Video of the Year nomination, but Beyonce’s ‘7/11’ is in there, and that is celebrating the female figure in every form.”
