Out of hundreds of nominations, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce narrowed it down to just 38 people who will receive their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. The stars are divided up into categories. In the world of Motion Pictures, Macaulay Culkin, Salma Hayek, Michael B. Jordan, Regina King, Ewan McGregor, and Jason Momoa are among those getting a star. Carrie Fisher will receive hers posthumously. In television, Ricky Gervais, Bob Odenkirk, Norman Reedus, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kenan Thompson are getting stars. In the recording industry, the Black Eyed Peas, DJ Khaled, and Avril Lavigne are among the star recipients. Nipsey Hussle will also receive a star posthumously. And Michael Strahan is getting a star in the Sports Entertainment category.

Scareltt Johansson’s stand alone movie “Black Widow” hits theaters and Disney+ on July 9th. In a new interview, Scarlett spoke out about how her character was hyper-sexualized when Black Widow made her debut in “Iron Man 2.” She said, “…While it was really fun and had a lot of great moments in it, the character was talked about like she’s a piece of something, like a possession or a thing or whatever…At one point [Tony] calls her a piece of meat, and maybe, at that time, that actually felt like a compliment.” Scarlett said she’s proud to have taken Black Widow from being “just a piece of meat” to being an empowering hero for women and young girls. She said, “It’s been incredible to be a part of that shift.”
Scarlett Johansson says she is glad that they moved #BlackWidow “away from this kind of hyper-sexualization.”
She says the character was “so sexualized” in ‘IRON MAN 2’ and was treated “like a possession or a thing — like a piece of ass.”

Billie Eilish hasn’t responded to the TikTok videos showing her mocking several ethnic accents and using an anti-Chinese slur, but she liked a comment someone posted defending her boyfriend. Matthew Tyler Vorce is apologizing for past racist and homophobic posts on Twitter and Facebook. He said in part, “The language I used was hurtful and irresponsible and I understand how offensive those words are. Whether it was a lyric, a quote or just me being dumb, it does not matter. I am ashamed and deeply sorry that I used them in any context. It is not how I was raised and it is not what I stand for. I shouldn’t have used this language in the first place and I won’t use it again. I am so sorry for the hurt I have caused.’ Later, one of Matthew’s fans suggested that some of the old posts being attributed to Matthew might be fake, and Billie double tapped it.

Britney Spears hopped on Instagram to answer more questions from her fans. Again, nobody’s asking her what’s been her favorite business trip ever — she said a trip to Italy to stay with Donatella Versace in her villa, by the way. MAYBE somebody asked her shoe size. It’s a 7. But the FOR REAL question she answered was….Is Britney ever going to take the stage again?? She answered, “I have no idea. I’m having fun right now. I’m transitioning in my life and I’m enjoying myself.” For those wondering, Britney’s last live performance was at the US Grand Prix back on Oct. 21, 2018.

Last night was Part One of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” FINAL reunion special, hosted by Andy Cohen. There are simply too many things to discuss here that were discussed last night. But among the highlights, Kourtney finally revealed that substance abuse was the reason she finally ended things for good with Scott Disick. Kris Jenner revealed that Kourtney was the most difficult of all her children to manage. And Kim revealed what sent he over the edge and led her to divorce Kris Humphries. She said, “He had like a size 17 shoe lined up around my whole room and I just freaked the (BLANK) out. I literally got claustrophobic. We were living in a hotel. But I was so nervous to break up with someone, I handled it totally the wrong way. I fully broke up with him in the worst way, and I just didn’t know how to deal.” Kim said she tried to call Kris for months to apologize, but he never took her calls.
